Today on The Mikey Show…

Happy New Year

~ B. Rob got engaged over the vacation. The way everyone on the show found out was different and some did not expect to hear it the way they did. Mikey found out through his wife and immediately thought that he did some thing wrong and B. Rob was upset with him and that was the reason he did not tell him about it. Eddie and Zeth found out through text message from Rob which Eddie was kind of disappointed in the way he found out and that he was not a part of it. Sky found out this morning because B. Rob sent a text to the wrong number. Ashlee found out from B. Rob's brother's girlfriend and had a few different opinions about the situation where her and B. Rob got into a little fight on the air where they both need to leave the studio to smoke and calm down.

~ Shawne Merriman called into the show today. Once Mikey told him about B. Rob being engaged, he told us that he sees himself some day getting married and having kids but not anytime soon. He talked to us about the games this weekend and how he will be playing the team that supposedly put out a hit on him.

~ We played Lyrical Gangsta today. Today we heard questions about the songs "My Life" by Billy Joel, "Never Again" by Nickel Back, "Come Sail Away" by Styx, also a Cindy Lauper song and Staind song.

~ Mikey played some of the best audio clips of 2007. We heard the Miss South Carolina audio of her being an idiot, we listen to a few different coaches meltdown and Chris Crocker's Britney Spears tirade.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Eddie was feeling the holiday spirit and let loose his brutal yet honest Tough Love to some P-1's in search of advice. The first email was from a guy looking for Eddie's wisdom on a hairy back. He explained that his girlfriend saw his Chewbacca of a back for the first time and freaked out. The second email was from a guy who was trying to hook up his boy with a date but every girl he put him on a date with said that the guy was boring. The final email was a chick telling Eddie not to eat meat and that you don't have to kill and eat animals to be a man.

~ We had our final Mikey Show Secret Santa today to help out a P-1 in need. Today's P-1 that we helped out was nominated by her friend. The email explained how loving and helpful this lady has been to everyone in her life but her car is breaking down. We got her on the line and told her that we were giving her a two thousand dollar credit at Midway Jeep to have her car fixed.

~ Brian Malarkey from Oceanaire came into the studio today. He brought some of his crab cakes which lasted about a minute and a half in the studio. He told us about the New Years eve dinner and champagne toast they are having down at Oceanaire and talked us through the menu which sounds wicked good.

~ Our good friend Aimee stopped by to talk about the Auto Show that is happening downtown next week. She told us that they are going to have 11 concept cars that are supposed to be the wave of the future (so, probably some kind of George Jetson flying car) and for the hippies they are going to have a eco-center a.k.a green room with a bunch of hippie mobiles a.k.a hybrids.

The Mikey Show starts Christmas break today, we will be back after the New Year. Happy Holidays and have a Wicked Awesome New Years.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Gary Hoey stopped by the studio today. He told us about his show last night and that it was one of the best shows he has had. He told us that there were over 500 people that showed up. He played some of his Christmas music for us today. He played us the most rippinest version of Carol of the Bells ever and also played us Santa Claus is Coming to town. He told us that he has been playing guitar now for 33 years and you can tell, that guy is money.

~ We all traveled to a foreign land this morning for Bizarre Foods with Boston Rob. Today we traveled back to Asia for some delicious Sea Cucumber. This is basically a sea slug that eats debris from the bottom of the ocean. It looked like a banana that had gone bad and by bad I mean not edible. B. Rob choked it down and did not throw up but had a wicked close call.

~ We helped out a few more P-1's in need today with The Mikey Show Secret Santa. Today we helped out a family where the dad is a janitor and his old school he worked at nominated him. He has three kids and one is disabled. We gave them a 500 dollar gift card to help out with holiday shopping. The next P-1 we helped out was nominated by her daughter. The mother was living in a trailer with a hole in the roof, so we gave her a thousand dollar gift card to IKEA. Finally, P-1 Ryan was in studio and his wife wrote in to Mikey telling him about the bed they have and how bad it is. Ryan injured his back and needed a better bed to sleep in. We gave him a thousand dollar gift card to Sleep Train.

~ Eddie made his picks against the Charger Girls today. We found out that the Charger Girls all shower together after the games. We also found out they are all told how they will look for the year, meaning that the director will tell them what kind of look they will have whether it be curly hair or straight. Eddie and the ladies disagreed on three games. Eddie took the Giants and the ladies took the Bills, Eddie took Detroit and the ladies took Kansas City, and finally Eddie took New Orleans and the ladies took Philly.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We spoke with Shawne Merriman today. He told us that the reason we did not talk this past Monday was because he lost his lost at dinner and some one just returned it to him. He told us that he is guessing he will play this upcoming Monday night game and that yesterday was the first day he had ran around on his leg since the injury. We congratulated on making the Pro-Bowl again and he told us that the best Pro-Bowl for him was the first one except for the fact that all the Veterans made him pay for everything. He said for Christmas, he has no special plans and will be resting.

~ We helped another P-1 in need with our Mikey Show Secret Santa today. Today P-1 Will was nominated by a friend of his. He has 5 kids and their mother recently passed away in a tragic car accident this past summer. One of the kids needs around the clock attention because she is disabled and this is going to be their first Christmas without their mother. We got him on the line and he told us about each of his children and that one of them is getting recognized at the Poinsettia Bowl for being an inspirational football player at his school. We gave him a thousand dollar gift card to Target.

~ We played Lyrical Gangsta today. Today we heard questions about the songs Fight For Your Right by the Beastie Boys, the song Delilah by the Plain White Tees and Metallica's Sandman. It started off slow but then the P-1's were nailing the lyrical questions.

~ We had another installment of Sean TV today. Sean warned us that this week was a rough one but ended up being hilarious. It's a show called Kenny vs. Spenny that is now on Comedy Central. He told us that it started in Canada as a cable access show but now is produced by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the guys from South Park. He explained to us that the idea of the show is that Kenny and Spenny compete in endurance contests in each show.

~ We had another Cheaters Hotel today. Today was a weird situation, the chick wanting us to call for her had already broke up with the guy. They have been broken up for a week but she suspected him of cheating when they were together. When we called his cell phone, a chick picked up and it was his ex-girlfriend. The two ladies got into it and the ex was not saying to much, loving the fact that she was making the other chick crazy.

~ Eddie told us that his dad recently bought a Wii. Mikey said that as our parents get older, they become the kids and we become the adults. Eddie told us his dad recently retired and had a lot of projects going on but finished them all. We spoke with Eddie's dad and he told us that he got the Wii for Christmas and is waiting to play it. He wants the bowling and boxing games. Eddie was tripping out because he can not picture his dad playing the Wii (which is a very interactive game system.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We had another Mikey Show Secret Santa today. Today we helped out Duane who lost his job and has been having a real tough time finding a new job. He explained in the email that his 4 year old son recently had a birthday and his brother had to pay for it. He said he only wanted a fisher price camera for his son because he loves taking pictures. We got him on the line and hooked him up with a hundred dollar gift card to Toys R Us and the camera.

~ We discussed what constitutes a Christmas movie. Eddie was against everyone saying that Love Actually is a Christmas movie. He said that just because it takes place during the holidays does not make it a Christmas movie. Eddie tried to explain that Love Actually is a relationship movie and that it is not about Christmas therefore not being a Christmas movie. They asked about movies like Home Alone as well.

~ Mikey read us a spicy email that he received from a female p-1 about her neighbors situation. Her neighbors husband is in the military and she gave him permission to cheat while he is on leave to reduce his stress. She just explained to him that he should not have any babies or get any diseases and it would be fine. Mikey said that it’s a real bad idea and that Eddie or himself would never do that if they were being deployed. Sky and Ashlee to every ones surprise said that they would let their man cheat. Sky set a time that would be appropriate for him to cheat, saying that two years with no physical contact would be the time. We spoke with p-1 Vanessa from the Mikey Show Apprentice and she is letting her boyfriend cheat while he is on deployment.

~ Mikey saw a guy putting up lights this past weekend and thought about how dangerous it looked. He told us that a couple of weeks ago he was at his neighborhood poker night and a guy was there in a wheelchair because of a holiday light incident. We got calls from P-1 telling us about holiday injuries from putting lights up including guys that feel off roofs and were electrocuted.

~ We discussed what TV show mom you would want as your mother. Eddie told us that his mother is live Mrs. Cleaver in Leave It To Beaver and he was thinking her but decided to go with the mom from Growing Pains, Maggie Seaver. Sky said that she would want Elise Keaton from Family Ties and Sean would like Angela from Who's The Boss to be his mother. We heard from P-1's telling us that they would like moms like Peggy Bundy, Mrs. Garrett and B. Dub saying Roseanne.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We did the first ever Mikey Show Secret Santa. This is something we decided to do to help out P-1's in need this holiday season. Today we got P-1 Gillian on the line who is a single parent and recently was hurt on the job. She told us that this will be the first Christmas where her kids will be getting no gifts from mom. We got her on the air and told her that we would help out a little by giving her a 500 dollar gift card. The second email came from a friend of this lady named Jenny. Jenny has two kids and her husband recently left her, we got her on the line and gave her a 500 dollar gift card as well.

~ We listened to the narrations of the Sky in the Honey Baked store video. Three different P-1's got their narration on the air today. We heard great commentary and wicked awesome Sky impressions. The first one we listened to there were so many inside jokes and so on the money. We are still accepting narrations and will be playing the best ones all week.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. B. Rob made his triumphant return to the game to bring some spice back to Dumb Chick. Everyone agreed that B. Rob made it a little more interesting because he fights with the dumb chicks that compete. Today B. Rob won but could not answer what state Al Gore was a Senator in.

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. Today we had P-1 Phil going up against P-1 Danielle. They were both hard core P-1's and Danielle took the win but Mikey decided to let them both come in because they knew there trivia. We heard questions like "what P-1 does Eddie have a feud with?" and "what was the last sports challenge between Eddie and B. Rob?".

~ We spoke with TMZ reporter Katie Darryl today. Before we got into what is going on in Hollywood, she started talking to us about her recent break up that actually went down last night. She told us that her and her man were living together and were out Christmas shopping when it all went down. She then filled us in on Britney Spears and how she is not allowed at the 4 Seasons anymore which is her home away from home.

~ Sean told us an ordeal he is having at home with his ornaments and Christmas tree. He told us that this past weekend his wife set up there tree but put none of his ornaments up on it. He explained that its all garland and weird stuff like peacock feathers. He told us that he has a ton of cool Star Wars and Star Trek ornaments that he wants up so he is going to get his own little tree this year.

Tomorrow on The Mikey Show… Wuss Rock Juke Box, were P-1 guys show off how feminine they can be and sing really wussy songs.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We traveled to South Korea today in Bizarre Foods with Boston Rob. The dish today is usually served live and is considered a choking hazard because of the live tentacles. B. Rob ate baby octopus served in tomato sauce. B. Rob could hardly choke it down and ended up throwing up because his body rejected it. If you missed this, it is on the podcast.

~ Eddie dished out his Tough Love today to a few P-1's in need. Eddie managed a hat trick today and dogged Zeth in each of his responses, very impressive. The first email that Eddie received was from a chick who has an issue with a guy at work who is constantly staring at her chest and making her feel really uncomfortable. The next email was from this chick who just started dating a guy and he cries a lot (like Zeth). The final email was from a chick who was wondering if dandruff was a deal breaker.

~ Mikey was talking to Eddie about how old his computer is. Eddie still has the same computer from Dallas which is 7 years old. We got calls from P-1's telling us that they had Apple 2E computers which they still play old games like Oregon Trail on, a guy who has a computer from the early 90's and he won't throw it out because he paid 3500 for it and a P-1 told us about his dad using a laptop that still has Windows 95 on it.

~ Eddie made his picks against the Charger Girls. The Charger Girls went 13-3 last week which is pretty impressive but nothing compared to Eddie's 15-1 week. They disagreed on three games this week, Eddie took the Ravens over Miami, Charger Girls took Arizona over New Orleans and Eddie took the Titans over the Chiefs.

~ Ashlee made deaf dogs cover their ears today in Tone Deaf Karaoke. We heard her sing Guns and Roses Sweet Child of Mine, the Ramones I Wanna Be Sedated and her butcher House of Pain's Jump Around.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We played the game Lyrical Gangsta today. Today we started off really slow and then the P-1's were on fire. The lyrical questions asked were "in Sexy Back, whats can you do if he misbehaves?", "in Girls Just Want To Have Fun, what did the father yell?", and "in the song Our House, where was it located?".

~ Mikey read us an email from a P-1 telling us that his sister returns every gift she gets. This guys sister, no matter what the gift is, returns it. He was wondering if he should just give her cash for Christmas but says that there is no fun in that. Everyone on the show thought that Sky might do the same sort of thing but we found out that she only returned one gift that Mike got her for her past birthday. A P-1 called and said that people should make a list of exactly what they want (which Eddie does on Amazon) and that way there will be no returns.

~ We had another installment of Sean TV today. Today Sean told us about the show called "Bad Girls" which he told us is on the Oxygen Network on Tuesday nights. He explained that the show is about "bad girls" that are not celebs and have serious issues all living in a house together. He played us a clip of the girls in the mix and screaming at each other.

~ In keeping with the holiday spirit today, we had another Cheaters Hotel. P-1 Christine was thinking her boyfriend of two years was cheating on her. When we were talking to her she said they both liked to party a lot and his high society job involved some high society parties (hinting to coke use). She thought that some things recently were suspicious including a guys number she found on a piece of paper. When Mikey asked for the name, the guy said to put Sky on the card and a ham in the basket. The guy turned out to be a P-1.

~ We discussed having strangers over for our Christmas celebrations and how some of us feel that its awkward and do not like it and some don't mind. Eddie and B. Rob both said they are not fans of having strangers over for the holidays. Mikey told us about his brother hating it and we got Steve on the phone. He told us about how his other brother Mark always brings a new friend with him and it drives him crazy but said that if it was a good looking female, he probably would not have a problem.

~ B. Rob told us about how this Christmas his family is going over to his girlfriends family's gathering for a formal dinner. He said he is a little worried because when his family gets together they are kind of a wild bunch. He said he will be sitting them all down and giving them a talk to explain to them that they need to be on their best behavior.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ The Mikey Show made an announcement today, we know how tough it can be for some people around the holidays and we want to help a few P-1's out by doing a secret Santa. The P-1's that are in need this holiday season can go to the website and write us for a loved one or for themselves and tell us why they are in need of help. We will be picking P-1's over the next two weeks and making their wishes come true.

~ Arthur Rankin, the co-creator of Christmas classics like Santa Claus is coming to town and Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, called into the show today. He told us that the movies are the longest running movies in the history of the media and they first aired in 1964. He told us that a few of the figurines are actually touring the country right now. He also informed us that his neighbor was the one who wrote the song "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer".

~ Dr. Phil made a surprise appearance on the show today. Mikey got an email from a P-1 whose wife was horrible at gift giving. He wrote us and said that his wife never gets him anything that he wants and does not even listen to the hints he drops for her. He told us that she once got him a sweater that was two sizes to small. Dr. Phil came to his aid and told him it could be worse and he could be married to Sky.

~ Mikey, Eddie and Sky went to see "I Am Legend" last night. We discussed what each of us would do if we were the last person on earth. Sky said that she would skip and sing every where she went (go figure). Eddie and B. Rob both agreed that it would be awesome and Eddie said he would watch every movie ever made along with try to play ever video game. Mikey seemed to be really scared of the idea and Ashlee said she would try to figure out how to use a gun.

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. Today both P-1's were money so Mikey is letting them both come into the studio on Friday. We heard the questions "who does not talk to their sister?", "name the judges in Wuss Rock Juke Box", "what is Eddie's favorite Star Wars movie?", and "who lost a bet and had to wear make-up and a sun dress?".

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today we heard the line "wish I was the meat in a man sandwich" from one of the P-1's and it had Mikey in stitches. They had to sing the songs "Things Can Only Get Better", "We Don't Need Another Hero" and "Wild Boys".

Tomorrow on The Mikey Show… We try to help someone out for the holidays and do a Cheaters Hotel for them.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We spoke with Shawne Merriman about yesterdays game. Eddie asked him about the rumors that were going around that the coach for the Titans put a hit out on him. He said that he believes the coach did tell his players to hurt him because of the previous hit he put on Vince Young. He told us that today he is getting the MRI's done and hopefully will find out soon what is wrong with his leg. Shawne said that yesterdays game was one of the dirtiest games he had ever played in. The interview made it onto ESPN News today and we got to hear Eddie talking to Shawne Merriman about the incident on ESPN.

~ P-1 Doug called us today needing some advice on a what to do about this chick he has been dating. He said that he has been out with her at least three times and each time they have gone out, she is dressed completely different. He said the first time they went out she was dressed pretty normal like the girl next door but the next time he saw her she was dressed all Goth like and her hair was punk rocked out. Mikey thought that it was really weird and said that this guy needs to get out of that relationship as quick as possible. A P-1 called and told this guy to quit complaining, he said he is lucky its like he is dating a different girl every time they go out.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Sky won today and Ashlee still has not won since Boston Rob had played the game. We heard the questions "who was known as the "Teflon Don"?", "who ran against Bush in '04?", "what country has a maple leaf on the flag?", and "who was Bush Sr.'s vice president?".

~ Katie from TMZ called us to give us a Hollywood update. She talked to us about Britney Spears going to buy a pack of smokes this weekend and stealing a lighter while she was leaving. She said that the owner of the gas station said she is more than welcome back there. Katie said that a photographer ended up paying for the lighter and that photographers paying for celebrities is happening more and more. She also told us that she thinks Britney is doing all this so she is not forgotten.

~ Mikey brought up the show's secret Santa today and how he has questions about it is nervous for it. He needed to ask the show questions about our secret Santa and the rules. He was wondering if we could get other people gifts that we didn't pick even if they were gag gifts but every one decided against it. Mikey told us that he has problems in his secret Santa with his family in that one of his brothers does not send presents even though he gets them. Eddie told us about his family and how its like an exclusive club to get into secret Santa and boyfriends/girlfriends/friends are not allowed to participate until they marry into the family.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We were broadcasting live all show from the Poway Fun Bowl. Eddie and B. Rob had another challenge today in which they bowled against each other. B. Rob had never bowled before but claimed that he could beat Eddie based on his bowling video game skills. B. Rob ended up losing to Eddie in a 131 to 98 embarrassing loss. At the end, Eddie embarrassed B. Rob with throwing the ball while covering his eyes and ended up getting a spare.

~ Bizarre Foods with Boston Rob. Today we traveled south of the border and B. Rob got to eat some classic Mexican dishes. He had cow tongue, cabesa (which is cow head) and tripe (which is the liner of the cows first three stomachs). B. Rob had a lot of trouble getting the tongue down and explained it was a mental thing, in between gags and throwing up.

~ After Bizarre Foods with Boston Rob, Mikey started talking about disgusting things found in food. He told us that his Gramma once found the tip of a thumb in a tomato jar. Eddie told us about his granola bar that looked like bugs had eaten it when it was first opened. B. Rob told us about him drinking bees and P-1's called in telling us about moldy hot pockets and Ashlee told us about a piece of glass in a cracker.

~ We played Tone Deaf karaoke today with P-1's that came out to the event. The P-1's had a good batch to guess from today. We heard songs from Korn, Madonna, and sublime. We even heard some Eagle Eye Cherry with their hit "Save Tonight".

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Sean informed us on another television show he watches. He was really excited to tell the P-1's about Bargain Hunt today. This show airs on BBC America and is on three times a day. Sean told us that its on 3 times a day because it was so popular in England that they had to add an evening addition of the show. He explained that it’s a mix of Antiques Road Show and a game show. He also told us that the host gives you a little history lesson in every show, when he played some clips from the show every one was falling asleep.

~ We had another Cheaters Hotel go down today. We had P-1 Paula on the line saying that her man of two years had been acting suspicious lately. She explained that every time he got a phone call or text message, he was leaving the room and then he would delete his texts. She knew this because she went through his cell. When Mikey got him on the line, not only did he say her name but he wanted to leave her a message under her name.

~ Mikey got an email from a P-1 mother who was questioning on whether or not to buy her son Guitar Hero as a Christmas present this year. She said she would rather have her son play a real guitar and was wondering what our input was. Mikey said that the kid just wants to have some fun playing video games but B. Rob had a hot button with this and told the lady to get her son a real guitar. She said in the email that her son should maybe invest the amount of time he would play the game into learning the guitar. B. Rob completely agreed with her and furthered the point with saying that it makes kids lazy.

~ We played Lyrical Gangsta today. We had no winners today even though some of the P-1's claimed to have knowledge of song lyrics. We were asking questions about the song "Smells like Teen Spirit from Nirvana, Hinder's "Lips of an Angel", a Hall and Oates song, and U2's "With or Without You".

~ Michael Madsen called into the show today. He is mostly known for his roles as a bad dude in Reservoir Dogs and in Kill Bill. He talked to us about his new movie called Strength and Honour which comes out Friday. He told us that finally he plays a good guy in a movie compared to Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs where he has played the part of bad dudes. He also revealed to us that while talking to us he was in a hotel room in St. Louis only wearing boxers. He told us that the only reason he was in Sin City was so he could shoot Bruce Willis.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Mikey read us an email from a P-1 whose lady recently broke up with him. He explained that his girlfriend said that she was leaving him because she knew he wanted to get married at some point and she was not going to get married ever again. He explained that she was married before and it was an abusive relationship. She told him that she was leaving him so she wouldn't hurt him and he was wondering if he should just move on or try to convince her to stay. Mikey gave the best advice when he said that you should not have to convince some one to be in a relationship with you.

~ Today we had another therapeutic session of "I Don't Like It When..." with Ashlee and Zeth. They really needed this today and it got a little messy at the end. Ashlee told him that she does not like it when he gets in her way and when he mumbles on the air. Zeth fired back with telling her that he does not like it when she tells him to speak up and when she does not drink alcohol. From there is turned ugly and Mikey had to intervene.

~ Sky told us about what happened at Home Depot the other day. She explained to us that she has a 30 minute limit in Home Depot before she gets really fed up and irritable, after that 30 minutes she is like a beating bomb waiting to go off. It was way past that 30 minute mark and she was in line when the guy in front of her started yelling at the chick working there telling her that she should go get a man to help him. The chick could not fight back and Sky was not having it so she let loose on the guy. We got calls from P-1's that had to smile while being treated badly at work by a customer and P-1's calling in to praise Sky.

~ Jon Lovitz called into the show today to promote a secret show at his comedy club tonight. It was kind of awkward because he didn't know too much about the show other than it is at 9 pm tonight at his new comedy club downtown and its called a secret show. Myspace is sponsoring it and all you have to do to get it is bring a print out of your myspace page.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We spoke with Shawne Merriman. He talked to us about Sean Taylor and told us that he knew him. He said that when some players first get into the league they try to get away from their past and people that might have bead intentions. He told us that some people get jealous and those people are not always nice about it. He told us that as a player he feels that he is at risk sometimes but you have to stay away from trouble and hope bad things don't happen. He talked to us about his Lights On Bowl tonight and said that LT was there last year and is a phenomenal bowler.

~ While talking about Fluoride in the water now in San Diego, we decided to do an experiment with Sky. Sky get frog hands whenever she takes a shower. He hands become all bubblely and gross, she believes that it is because of the fluoride in the water. Zeth went out and got toothpaste with fluoride and without and we had Sky put it on her hands for a portion of the show. When we had to remove it, nothing was on either hand.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Today Sky won the competition beating Ashlee and a P-1 who didn't score till one of the very last questions. We heard the questions "what sport uses the term "slalom"?", "what actress was called Hanoi Jane after the Vietnam War?", "Who was the first black player in Major League Baseball?" and "Who is the current mayor of NYC?".

~ We spoke with Katie Darryl from the show TMZ today. We found out that Katie will be calling in to the show on Mondays from now on to give us the latest in the celebrity gossip world. She said that this past weekend they got some video of Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson together, that Britney Spears' birthday was this past weekend and she was out partying with Paris Hilton, and that Jay Leno has decided to pay his staff out of his own pocket through the holidays.

~ Mikey read us an email that he received from P-1 Amanda. She was complaining in the email because she had recently gone to the doctors office and the lady helping her behind the counter had a tongue ring and was over the age 30. She wrote in the email that no lady should have a tongue ring if she is over a certain age unless maybe they are a stripper. P-1's called to give us their take on older women with tongue rings.

~ We had another Winner Plugs All competition. In today's competition we had our first lady artist, her name is Regina and she did an original bluesy original called "Hammer and Nail". She told us that the song was about finding a guy that will be a good man. The second artist that came in was Josh Damigo who sang us his original called "Pocket Change". He told us that the song was about breaking up with a love of his and his life experiences after the heart break. Josh won today with 84 percent of the vote.

~ We played Ashlee Pyramid today. Today Sky had to guess these categories "tings you do when you propose", "items in a medicine cabinet", "Matt Damon movies" (which was hilarious to hear her try and describe), "things Zeth screws up" (which Ashlee said everything), and "things you insure".

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Today was a good game and by good in mean stupid. We heard the questions and not the correct answers to "what is the only sign in the zodiac that is not a person or animal?", "what party does Barak Obama belong to?", "where was Jesus Christ born?" and "where is your uvula located?".

~ Sky told us all about her hammy good time at Roman Oben's charity event. She showed us the pictures of her (that are up on the Mikey Show website) in her wicked revealing dress. Jay from promotions was there and called us to tell us that it was the "breast he had ever seen her". She told us about the night and she was still glowing and still had make up on while telling us.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Bizarre Foods with Boston Rob. Today we traveled across the pond to Scotland. The guys decided today that from now on Boston Rob will be dressing in the attire of the country he travels to each week. Today's exotic food was Scottish Haggis. It is a mix of oatmeal, onion, sheep heart, sheep lungs and sheep liver cooked in the animals stomach. B. Rob was not as disgusted as previous weeks and said he might enjoy the dish again.

~ Mikey read us an email he got from this P-1 guy who recently had a vote in his office on whether or not they should start listening to Christmas music. He voted against it but the vote went through and now has to deal with Christmas music in his office until the 25th. Mikey told us that he loves holiday music but his wife does not enjoy anything Christmas related even Christmas trees. Eddie said that it's a little over kill since we are not even in the month of December yet.

~ Sky is going to Roman Oben's fundraiser tonight. She told us that Roman had left her a comment on her myspace telling her about his fundraiser and then she told us that they are both on each others top friends on myspace. When we asked if she was taking her husband and she told us that she is actually bringing her friend. She also told us that she went out and got a new dress for the occasion, the conversation was scandalous.

~ Tough Love with Eddie made a triumphant return today because P-1's around the county needed some brutally honest advice. The first email came from a P-1 guy who was in a weird situation. He explained that ever year at his works holiday party, him and his assistant would get tanked and end up hooking up. This year the guy actually has feelings for her and wants more than just a hook up. The next email came from a P-1 who needed advice on confronting a co-worker who has the worst B.O. ever. The final email was a P-1 writing in who was complaining about his tradition of eating goose every Christmas changing because his wife wanted to make a roast.

~ Zeth stood up for himself in the first time ever. Ashlee gave him a load of S because he missed a traffic. When we went back on the air Mikey brought it up and asked Ashlee why she was giving him such a hard time. When she started to yell at Zeth again for messing up, Zeth actually came back at her and mumbled to her that he also has things going on and can't always be perfect. It was uncomfortable and after Zeth spoke back to her, Ashlee went off on him again.

~ Eddie and the Charger Girls made their football picks for this weeks games today. Kaylin and Shelby came in today because of the Thursday's football games. Eddie told us that last week he killed it but the week before that he lost but only by one game. There can be no tie this week because they disagreed on five games. The games they disagreed on this week were Detroit (which Eddie took) and Minnesota, Carolina (Eddie) and San Francisco (Charger Girls), Tennessee (Eddie) and Houston (Charger Girls), Cleveland (Eddie) and Arizona (Charger Girls), and Finally the Giants (Eddie) and Bears (Charger Girls) game.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We had another Cheaters Hotel. We got P-1 Jessie, who is a guy, on the line telling us that his girlfriend is best friends with this dude and he is really uncomfortable with it. He went on to not give us any concrete evidence that he thought she was cheating but he wanted to go through with it anyway. When Mikey called his chick she said his name then when she found out that he was trying to catch her cheating, she went off on him about how he needs to get over her having a guy as a best friend.

~ We debuted a new song for Sky today by Sky One. It is a parody to ABBA's "Dancing Queen" called "Drama Queen". It is all about how Sky can sometimes be a drama queen and has to go home from work if she gets a sunburn or cramps. It was the P-1's most favorite song ever.

~ We played everyone's favorite new game Lyrical Gangsta. In today's game, P-1's had to guess "what Gina was bringing her pay for?" in Bon Jovi's Livin On A Prayer, "What pictures were being drawn?" in Pearl Jam's Jeremy, ""Where did he drive his Chevy?" in Don McLean's American Pie and "What it was a nice day to do?" in Billy Idol's song White Wedding.

~ While talking about Shawne Merriman's Light's On Bowl, we got to talking about Eddie and B. Rob sports challenges and how we have not had one in a while. Mikey suggested that they have a bowling challenge which both of them immediately accepted. B. Rob was confident that he could beat Eddie from the momentum off of the last win. B. Rob explained that he had never bowled before and Eddie told us he used to be in a league. We are setting something up for next week.

~ We got a email from P-1 Cody today. In the email he explained to us that his wife really wants a baby but he does not. He is only 21 and his wife is 19. He went on to tell us that they are not financially ready to have a baby but whenever one of her friends gets pregnant, she bugs him like crazy to have a baby. Everyone on the show pretty much agreed that he needs to stand his ground and wait till he is ready to have a baby.

~ Sean watches the most random television shows in the history of random television shows. Today on Sean TV he told us about the show Jail. No one else on the show had even heard of this show except for B. Rob who loves the show. Sean explained that the show is done by the producers of Cops and is done is Cops style but the show takes you through the inner workings and happenings of Jail. He played us a couple of clips from the show which were really compelling.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. We heard a great rendition of Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know" where the lyrics got changed to "I want to hold hands with another man". Then we heard REO Speed wagon's "Keep on Loving You" where the P-1 nailed it in falsetto. We then had a P-1, out of no where, sing "Genie in a Bottle".

~ We had another installment of Cell Phone Mishaps today. We got a call from this P-1 lady who is having a wedding soon. Her best friend called her accidentally while talking smack about the wedding. This P-1 guy called us who owns a detailing shop and has an Asian customer who he and a co-worker impersonate from time to time. He explained that he got a call who he thought was his co-worker doing the accent and he started doing it back only to find out that it was actually the customer.

~ Mikey got an email from this guy today who recently had a baby. The email went on to tell us that his wife was breast feeding but she was doing it everywhere and not in private. They were at his family's house this past Thanksgiving and she did it there while his brother and cousin watched. The guy wanted some advice on how to get her to not do it in public. Mikey had to call in Dr. Phil, who told the guy to put super glue in his wife's maternity bra and that should solve the problem.

~ Mikey brought up that when he was younger him and a friend went behind his house in an alley and set his back fence on fire. We started talking about times that we almost set stuff on fire, Eddie said that when he was younger he almost started an entire field on fire and B. Rob told us about burning his bedroom window when he left a candle going during a house party. We took calls from P-1's who had almost lit stuff on fire from their garage to their neighbors camper.

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. Today was one of the best trivia games we have ever played. The two P-1's didn't hold back at all today, they went right for the throat. We heard some great questions like "who has a brother who owns the company Rock Star Hot Dogs?" and "what is the new game not he show where you guess the lyrics of songs?".

~ We talked about weird things we do in our sleep or weird things our significant others do in their sleep. Eddie had a few complaints about his wife talking, crying and even laughing out loud in her sleep. Sky told us that when she was younger she would sleep walk. Mikey's wife IM'ed Eddie saying that Mikey farts in his sleep. We got calls from P-1's telling us all kind of weird things like fighting things and breaking fingers to screaming in their sleep.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Shawne "Lights Out" Merriman called into the show today. He talked to us about the win in yesterdays game and how the team was more fired up than usual. He told us that the defense switched it up yesterday in something they call Hollywood defense which disguises the defense making it hard for the other quarterback to figure out what they are doing. He said LT brought the team in during the week and gave a talk about making sacrifices for the team. Shawne told us that he went to Stephen Cooper's for Thanksgiving and that his favorite side dish is candied yams.

~ Josh Lewin stopped by the studio today. We listened to his calls from yesterdays game and him calling LT breaking 10 thousand yards. He told us that he was at the Van Halen show last night dancing around like crazy. He told us that now when he goes to Charger games, he shows up really early to go for the tailgating in hopes that he can scavenge some food.

~ Hall of Famer Troy Aikman called into the show today. He told us that he is really excited for the Cowboys Packers game on Thursday saying this game will be like the great games of the early 90's. He talked to us about Norv Turner and how he worked with him when he was an offensive coordinator but does not know exactly how he is as a head coach. When he started to tell us about his migraine problem, the issues he came on the show to promote, the PR lady got on the line and ended the interview. Eddie has some words with her during the break after interview and told us about it on air. If you missed it, it is up for the pod cast.

~ Ashlee was upset because she got no invite to B. Rob's birthday party this past weekend. They started arguing during dumb chick and we ended up needing a whole break to get into it. Ashlee explained that she feels like her and Rob and not friends anymore because he has a girlfriend. B. Rob said that things were going to change and even though they don't talk or hang out as much, they are still best friends. This was a very sensitive topic.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Today's game was no as brutal as usual. In the midst of the game B. Rob and Ashlee got into it and Mikey ended up giving the P-1 lady the question "what is 2 + 2?" to win it. We also heard the questions "what state elected former wrestler Jesse Ventura governor?" and "what is added to bread to make it rise?".

Tomorrow on The Mikey Show… Dr. Phil comes on the show and gives us his red neck advice which never helps anyone, although it is hilarious.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We got a few emails joking about Black Friday and how it must be Sky's favorite holiday because she loves black guys. Then we got a more serious email from this P-1 lady saying that using the term Black Friday is racist. She thought that they called it Black Friday because everything is cheap and on sale so black people can afford them. She left a phone number so we got her on the line to explain herself. She is a crazy person and said some really shocking things, very red-neck-esque.

~ Sean told us about how he was accosted in Best Buy the other day. He was shopping for a gift from his wife and this older rude lady told him "I need to get by" and ended up ramming him with her cart in his ankle dropping him to the floor. We know Sean has the ability to be a little rude back when people are rude to him. He explained that after the fat lady ran him down she felt bad and tried to apologize but he was not having it.

~ We played the new game Lyrical Gangsta today. We had P-1's guessing the lyrics of the hits like Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby, the song Sweet Dreams, the love ballad Love Lifts Us Up Where We Belong, and I Love Rock and Roll by Joan Jett.

~ Tyler Florence, from the Food Network, called into the show today. He broke down Thanksgiving real easy for people who are doing it on their own for the first time. He explained that you need the turkey, stuffing and gravy, a green dish and two potato dishes as the essentials. He said from there the sky is the limit. The biggest thing he pointed out is that people over stretch their oven space. He also told us how to check the turkey to make sure it is done. If you missed any of this, it is up on the pod cast.

~ Ashlee dropped a bomb on everyone today. A P-1 called in today to say that Ashlee has a crush on Zeth. While discussing how she is not into him and that she does not think it’s a good idea to date people you work with she said that if she did date people she worked with, her and B. Rob would have been going out for two years now. B. Rob is now in a happily committed relationship with a lady he loves which made the whole thing even more uncomfortable. This was pretty insane, if you missed it, it is up on the pod cast.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Mikey got an email about bringing beer to a party and then taking it home with you at the end of the night. This divided the show, Sky and Sean believe that it is fine to bring the beers you brought home if no one drinks them. Mikey and Eddie found it to be rude and of very poor etiquette if you bring anything home that you brought to the party. We took calls from P-1's one the topic and talked about whether it was ok to bring home beer if it's a BYOB party.

~ Eddie and Sky had a healing segment we like to call "I Don't Like It When...". Eddie started it off by telling her that he does not like it when she won't try normal foods and becomes a drama momma over the taste or how it looks. Sky then rebutted with her saying she does not like it when Eddie forces her to eat things that he likes figuring the rest of the world would like it. Eddie then told her that he does not like when she wears free promotional clothes that are not cool. Sky in return told her that she does not like it when Eddie tells her that she smells like onions and when he wrestles around the studio with Rob like they were second graders. Eddie then told her that he does not like when she will never admit that she is wrong. It started to deteriorate when Eddie said he does not like it when Sky shows up every morning.

~ We had The Great Cranberry Debate today. Mikey is passionate on his stance that home made cranberry sauce it the best and the only way to go on Thanksgiving. Eddie, Sky and Ashlee all agreed that cranberry sauce in the can is the best way to go on Thanksgiving. We had two P-1's that were as passionate about home made and canned cranberry sauce come on the air and debate it out.

~ Sky told us today that she recently got Cinemax. She said her cable company was giving a good deal on it so they got it but she had no idea what it was or what was on the channel. She did not know that at night it can get a little naughty and play some soft core porn. She is very uncomfortable with porn and her and the hubby were watching Wedding Crashers. When it ended, it went back to Cinemax where the soft core porn was on. She frantically scoured the room for the remote to change the channel because she was freaking out over what was on the television. Mikey jokingly said you can put parental controls on the TV and now she is seriously considering it. Mikey's mom ended up calling in about the topic and she told us that she saw his dad watching a naked lady telling the weather. Mikey had to hit the button on his mother while she was describing the lady.

~ We spent about half an hour talking about The Bachelor. There was a first for the show last night where the guy turned down both ladies. We spoke with the host of the show last night. He talked to us about how they are having an After the Rose show tonight and how intense it is going to be. He explains how one of the chicks is upset but still hoping that the bachelor is in love with him and wanting to get back together. He couldn't put into words how uncomfortable it is being in the room with all of the drama going on. He told us that he does still stay in touch with some of the couples.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Shawne Merriman called into the show today. He told us about the hit Maurice Jones Drew put on him yesterday. He explained that he thought that it was a different play and that he didn't see Jones Drew and got caught. We asked him about his statement in the locker where he said that the guys on the team have to hate to lose, which he said he gets upset but apparently the other guys might not get as upset. He also said he thought a lot of the problem is that the opponent's offense is isolating him from the ball.

~ Eddie told us that he and his wife are in the market to buy and house and that along with buying a house, he will be getting a dog. He told us that he will be getting a dog regardless of what his wife says or thinks. He told us that he knows she will have a problem with the dog living inside and she wants it to be an outdoor dog. Debra called into the show and told us her side of the story and how she is kind of a germaphobe and does not want dog hair all over the place. Eddie let every know that he will do what he wants no matter what any one says.

~ Boston Rob debuted his annual Thanksgiving song. Every year B. Rob parodies Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving song. This year he referenced Sky and her beloved Honey Baked Ham, B. Rob also made references to Sean being a furry and Ashlee's sweat problem.

~ Sky told us off the air that she was a wicked huge beating to her husband yesterday. Mikey brought it up on the air and we found out that she had a dream where her hubby was cheating on her and that is the reason that she was giving him attitude all day long. We tried to find out why she would give him a hard time if he didn't do anything and it was in her dream. Then a P-1 called and asked her how is it ok for her to dream about hooking up with guys like Jim from The Office. She explained that in those dreams she is single. That was some jacked up stuff, poor Sky's husband.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Today's game seemed to never end even though the ladies all nailed high point questions right off the bat. Then, it took a turn for the worst and the dumb chicks couldn't even answer a question right for about 20 minutes. We heard the questions "which state is known as the Peach state?", "What were the 3 ships that Christopher Columbus took his voyage to the new world on?", "What river carved the Grand Canyon?" and "Where is the U.N. headquarters located in the U.S.?".

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. Both P-1's that claimed they knew the show did not prove to us that they were very knowledgeable P-1's. We heard the questions "Which one of Mikey's cats has a French accent?", "What food is Eddie allergic to?", and then we had to have the guy P-1 give up and we hung up on the other P-1 because they couldn't answer any questions. We got P-1 Bath House to come in on Wednesday.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Whatcha Doin At The Court House. Today we heard from a guy who was just chilling on the corner and ended up getting cuffed and stuffed for no apparent reason. He then went on to tell us that he might of been suspected for selling drugs and resisted arrest. Then we talked to a bad ass dude who told us about a fight he got in down in PB. Finally, we spoke with a chick that was there to support her brother who was being charged with domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon.

~ We had another Winner Plugs All today. Today we had P-1 Anthony going against P-1 Eddie. Anthony McGee who is 34 and have been making music for over 10 years. He sang us a serious political song, Eddie did a more light hearted song called Done Dreaming. P-1 Eddie received 77 percent of the vote and won. He promoted his band Viva In Stereo.

~ While talking about different computer issues that each member of the show has, Sky told us that her new computer recently got a virus. She said she was checking her email the other day and a shady box popped up that she had never seen before. The box keeps popping up and she is sketched out on what it could be. She told us she called her brother, who is a computer genius, and he is coming to check it out for her. Then she dropped on us that she is scared of what he might find. She was thinking that her hubby was up to no good and possibly looking at porn.

~ P-1 Nerd won trivia earlier this week and was in studio hanging out with us all day. He brought us all presents, he got Mikey a Mexican cook book, Eddie a pineapple, Ashlee sponges for her sweat problem, B. Rob got Dunkin Donuts, and he brought Sky a gift certificate for Honey Baked Ham.

~ The Charger Girls stopped by the studio to make their football picks against our boy Eddie. They disagreed on five games today. Eddie took the Bengals and the Charger Girl took the Cardinals, Eddie took the Saints over the Texans, the Charger Girl took Miami over Philly and Chicago over Seattle and Denver over Tennessee. We did next weeks picks as well which the disagreed on five more games, they will be up on the Mikey Show website soon.

~ Chris Porter from Last Comic Standing Stopped by the studio today. He is appearing tonight at Jon Lovitz new comedy club here in downtown San Diego at Aubergine. He told us about his family and how his sister is just as funny as he is and that when their entire family gets together hilarity ensues. He said that he does not get groupies, saying he is not Warrant.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Andrew Zimmern, from the Travel Channel show Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, called into the show. He told us that he originally is a classically trained chef and that he eventually followed his childhood passion of diving into other cultures to explore to get into the bizarre foods world. He told us that a lot of the exotic and disgusting foods have a historical president to it. He said the worst thing he has ever eaten is the stinky tofu.

~ We had another edition of Bizzare Foods with Boston Rob. Today's delicacy was from the far East, a little thing called Century Egg which is also known as the Thousand year old egg. It looked like a rotten mushroom surrounded by a gelatinous sap. B. Rob ate a half one then threw up and then the guys made him eat another quarter of one. The video will be on the web today in case you missed it.

~ We played Tone deaf Karaoke with Ashlee today. This batch of songs was wicked awesome. The P-1's nailed the first couple of songs but the last one was a doozie. We heard Kelly Clarkson's Because of You, Gun's and Rose's Sweet Child of Mine, and the last song that gave the P-1's trouble was Creed's My Sacrifice.

~ Tough Love with Eddie was so money today he didn't even know how money it was. This is Eddie's charity to the city of San Diego and since its close to the holidays, Eddie dubbed this Tough Love the Egg Nog edition. Today he received an email from a guy who wanted to have a Harry Potter themed wedding but was having trouble convincing his fiancé to go along with it. The next email was from a chick who needed advice on how to teach her new boyfriend that flatulence is not a laughing matter (even though it is). The final email was from a 30 year old guy who wanted to hang out with this 17 year old chick he works with but only as "friends", creepy.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We had another edition of Sean TV today. Sean told us about the show called Keeping up with the Kardashions on E! network. This show follows around the family of the deceased Robert Kardashion. Sean told us that the mother pretty much whores out the daughters to anyone she can to get them work. The clip from the show Sean played for us today was of the daughters dealing with the of their father all while working at the fashion boutique that they own. Then he told us about how later in the episode one of the daughters got a DUI after trying to drown her sorrows in alcohol.

~ We had a Cheaters Hotel today. P1 Trish had wrote us concerning her brother and his girlfriend, this was a first and kind of weird to us. She went to school with her brothers girlfriend and explained to us that she "knows what kind of girl she is" meaning that she is a serious flirt. She believed that her brother's girlfriend was cheating on him and wanted to bust her on the radio.

~ We played a new game today called Lyrical Gangsta. This is a game where P-1's have to know the lyrics to songs. Mikey will ask them a question pertaining to the lyrics of a song and they will have five seconds to give us an answer. Today some of the questions asked were "In Jane's Addiction's song Been Caught Stealing, how old was he?", "In the Journey song Don't Stop Believing', where was the midnight train going?" and "Where does Kelly Clarkson never stray too far from in one of her songs?".

~ Eddie announced to everyone on the show that he thinks he is ready to go back to the dentist. He explained to us that he has had a fear of the dentist ever since he was non-sexually abused by the dentist he went to when he was a kid. The dentist used to yell at him along with the other kids that saw him and eventually was fired. It has been about 7 years since his last visit and he believes he is ready to make his return. Mikey asked for listeners to call in with their dentist horror stories. We heard from a P1 who woke up in the middle of getting his wisdom teeth removed and another p1 who had the spit sucker suck up all the Novocain he was supposed to receive in his gums.

~ Sky tried egg nog today and it was wicked under whelming. Yesterday while talking about new discoveries we have made in our lives, she told us she has never had egg nog. We practically had to force her to try it and she finally did but hated it. A P-1 called and said we should start a new bit called Normal Foods with Sky.

~ We spoke with Kyla Ebbert, the chick who was told she was wearing inappropriate attire on the South West flight. We got a press release today that said she posed for the Playboy website. Originally she said that she was not going to do it but everyone has a price. She told us that it was much different that being degraded in front of people and that it was really classy, that’s why she did it. She could not tell us how much she got paid for it.

Tomorrow on The Mikey Show... From the Travel Channel's Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, Andrew Zimmern will be calling in. And in a eerie coincidence we also have Bizarre Foods with Boston Rob where B. Rob will eat another delicacy from a foreign place.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Dr. Phil stopped by the studio looking all professional but not having professional intentions. We received an email from this P-1 lady saying that she was planning a trip to Ireland and her best friend wanted to go with her. The problem was that her friend never picks up her portion of the bill, she is what we call a free luncher. Dr. Phil tried to give advice but mostly referenced Sky and her free lunching ways, Dr. Phil even "accidentally" called the P-1 Sky once.

~ We talked about if we had the ability to freeze time what would you do. Eddie told us that he would freeze time to look at ladies that he knows in the nude, just to see what their good looked like. Mikey said that he would use it to do things that he couldn't do normally like check out famous peoples houses or see the cockpit of a plane. Sean said he would use it to take the best paparazzi photos and make a ton of money off of them. Sky said she would use it to figure out a way to rob big businesses a.k.a. "the man". B. Rob said he would use it to take pictures of celebs in compromising positions and make money off the pictures along with using it to pull pranks.

~ We all said who we would cast for each other if there was ever a Mikey Show movie. Mikey was casted as George Lopez, Danny Devito, Benecio Deltoro and Jason Alexander. Eddie was cast as Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell. Sky was cast as Julia Roberts and Susan Soranden. Ashlee got cast as Jessica Simpson, Jessica Alba and Tara Reid. Sean got cast mostly as Brad Garret but also John Goodman. B. Rob got cast as Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, and Johnny Depp. Zeth got cast mostly as Charlie Brown but also got Tom from Blink 182.

~ Sky told us she had to borrow money from a stranger while at Vons the other day. She explained that she went shopping, waiting in a long line and finally when she was all ready to pay she realized she had forgot her wallet back at her house. She had been talking with another lady in line and eventually asked her to let her borrow money to pay for her food. This was astonishing to all of us and the guys said they would of had the cashier put the groceries on the side and ran home to grab their wallet. That led us into Sky and what she will be going on at her house for this Thanksgiving. She explained that there might not be a Honey Baked Ham this Thanksgiving.

~ We discussed recent discoveries in our lives. Eddie told us that he had never had Popeye's chicken and always went to KFC. He said he will now never go back and that Popeye's was the greatest chicken he had ever eaten. Mikey told us that he recently discovered egg nog. He always thought it was gross but just happened to take a chance and try it and now he loves it. The guys want Sky to try it but she refuses.

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box this morning. The legendary P-1 Buckley played this morning but told us that he was a little rusty from a late night in Hillcrest last night. He could not pull off the first song so we gave hi a second chance and he killed it. We also heard a P-1 sing a reference Hank Bauer saying that he saw LT in the nude.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Josh Lewin, the play by play guy for the Chargers, stopped by tithe studio today. Talked about the Chargers squeaking out a win yesterday and how the offense has not been playing they way they should be. Josh also told us about a very inappropriate comment Hank Bauer made saying that last week he saw LT nude. We had Shawne Merriman on the line while Josh was in studio, Shawne was at the airport and on his way to Maryland to do his annual coat drive back home. Shawne talked to us about how he was happy with the win yesterday and happy that the team fought the Colts for an entire 60 minutes to get the win. He also told us that after last week and the poor run defense he told himself he would never let that happen again and it showed by the way they shut down Joseph Addai.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Today's game went by really quick compared to the 40 minute brain buster games we usually have to sit through. We the questions "what are Star Bucks coffee makers called, which is also the Italian word for bartender?" and "what is the layer of fat under a whale's skin called?". We shamed the P-1 that played the game, out of saying the Sadam was the master mind behind the 9-11 attacks. Sky won the game, which has not happened in a while.

~ Sky told us about an inconvenient truth that her husband dropped on her this weekend. He told her that they should not be putting up X mas lights this year because he believes they should wait till they have solar power. She believes that her hubby is just lazy and does not want to put the lights up himself but he makes such a valid point on conserving energy that she won't fight him on it.

~ Mikey told us that back in the day he called a radio station and made a song dedication. He asked everyone else on the show if they have ever done it. Eddie said he dedicated Skid Row's I Will Remember You to his first girlfriend and Sky said she dedicated a hip hop song to a guy she grinded with at a high school dance. Then, Mikey told us that he dedicated the song Next Time I Fall In Love by Peter Cetera and Amy Grant.

~ B. Rob went wine tasting this past weekend and was did not think it was a big deal. Everyone on the show freaked out once they heard this. They tried to explain to him that it is very out of the ordinary for him to go wine tasting. If you missed it, it is up on the pod cast for today.

~ Ashlee went to the movies this weekend and saw Lions For Lambs. She broke down the movie for us on the show today. She told us that her friend that was supposed to join her flaked out and she went alone. She told us that she had a great experience being alone and will probably go to the movies alone from now on. She broke down he movie for us but it was hard to follow her. She did tell us that there was bad acting in the movie, that’s all I got out of what she said.

Tomorrow on The Mikey Show… Dr. Phil makes an appearance and gives P-1's some twisted red neck advice that really does not help.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We played another Ashlee Pyramid today. We still can't figure out how Sky speaks Ashlee so well. She did it again in today's game. We heard Ashlee try to describe "Animals you hunt to eat, Things you do when camping, and things in a bakery". The most hilarious ones were when she tried to describe "things you hear at an airport", she tried to make airplane sounds which no one understood. Then the "things a football player says" were priceless as well.

~ Tough Love with Eddie, Eddie killed it today dishing out his "need to hear" advice. The first P-1 that wrote in was complaining that his soon to be wife brought home a stray female cat that just went into his first heat. The cat would not stop rubbing up against them while they slept. The second email looking for some brutally honest advice was a guy who was dealing with his wife who had become a beating over what his child eats. She thinks the kid has hyperactivity and wants him to only buy the child organic food. The final email was from a P-1 who was upset with Eddie because he was giving Sky a hard time a while back about not trying new foods.

~ We got into a conversation about Sky and her hubby going to the movie theatre. They do not go to night time movies because Sky does not want to pay the regular price so they only go to matinees. That got us talking about Sky bringing her own food into theatres to save cash and Mikey told us that his brother brings a backpack of food into the theatre. We talked with his brother on the phone and he told us he has never been caught and that he brings diet soda and muffins.

~ We had a Winner Plug All today. This is where we get two local artists to come in and play one acoustic song then get P-1's to vote on who they believe won. The first P-1 that played was P-1 Kyle who performed the song Vulnerability for us. This is a song he wrote about how his wife has the ability to make or break him and completely owns his heart. Then we had P-1 Garrett come in with his guitarist and perform his song Drawing Dead which is a song about when he was a transient for a while. Kyle ended up winning this week.

~ Eddie picked against the Charger Girls this weekend. He was pretty defeated about losing to the girls last week, they went 12 - 2. Eddie needed a pep talk and Mikey helped by playing the Rocky theme and then the song The Final Bell. It was an intense batch of picks this week, they agreed on every pick except for two, Eddie took the Cowboys over the Giants and the Colts over the Chargers, the Charger Girls took the latter.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. P-1 Jessie called in earlier this morning when she heard Sean talking about a candy shop he goes to up in the Bay Area and she wanted directions. She lives in Ramona and when we explained that the candy shop was up in the Bay Area, she asked what part of San Diego that was. When we told her that it's San Francisco, she then asked how Sean got to work every morning when he lives so far away. We had to have this girl play Dumb Chick Challenge. She ended up losing but it was great to hear her say that Philadelphia is the state the Liberty Bell is in.

~ At the end of the show today Zeth pointed out that Ashlee puts herself in almost all of the rejoiner promos. That turned into a huge ordeal where Ashlee freaked out on Zeth and then the show turned into a circus. If you missed this it is on the website as the pod cast for today. It was insane.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We had another installment of Bizarre Foods with Boston Rob. Today's food is actually outlawed in certain establishments in Malaysia. The food is a fruit called Durian and is not allowed in hotels and certain modes of public transportation in Malaysia. We had to do this Bizarre Foods outside of the building because the stench is so bad. B. Rob said it smelt like New Jersey and the description of the fruit said it would smell of a mix between onions and turpentine. B. Rob threw up almost right away, if you missed this, the video will be up on the site later today.

~ We spoke with Rampage Jackson today. He called us and told us that he was in Atlanta promoting his new energy drink at some convenience store. Rampage said that his next fight should be either in February or March. He talked to us about acting in movies and told us about the movie he has coming out soon called Midnight Meat Train. We found out that his home town of Memphis had given him the key to the city and Mikey burst his bubble when he let Rampage know that the actual key doesn't really do anything. We also found out that Rampage is a video game junkie and will be playing himself when the new UFC game comes out for PS3.

~ Jon Lovitz former SNL cast member came into the studio today. He is opening a comedy club in downtown San Diego at the Aubergine club. He is playing there this weekend and told us that David Spade will be doing his set next weekend. Jon talked to us about the fight between him and Andy Dick. He told us that it all started when Andy was hammered and said to him that he put the "Phil Hartman Hex" on him and that he was the next one to die. He told us that the next time he saw Andy and Andy did not apologize is when things got physical. He also talked to us about Andy playing a role in Phil Hartman's death and providing drugs for Hartman's wife. It was a really intense interview and you can check it out on the pod cast if you missed it.

Today on the Mikey Show

~ We had another installment of cheaters hotel. P1 Aaron wrote us an e-mail saying he thought his girlfriend, Kira, is cheating with her boss. Eddie said from the start he got vibes telling him that she was cheating so we gave her a call offering a stay at the Orion hotel. Included in her stay would be a gift basket with a card and that we needed to know what name to put on it. With almost no hesitation she said "David" who was her boss and her boyfriend freaked out. Kira tried to flip it on him but we weren't buying it. Will these people ever learn?

~ We had Sean give us another show to watch in a new segment called Sean TV. This week he suggested a show on VH1 called "Americas Most Smartest Model" which none of us had ever heard of. He then played a clip from the show where some model chick was freaking out on this Russian guy and the Russian started making baby sounds which sounded hilarious and stole the whole show.

~ We played P1 trivia with P1 Marcos and P1 Squishy facing off for a chance to come in the studio on Friday. Marcos came out of the gate strong by knowing who Ashlee's first base coach is during the dumb chick challenge (Eddie). After we worked through some phone issues with Squishy she roared back after some misses by Marcos. She sealed the victory by knowing that Sean salts his milk and get's to sit in on the show on Friday.

~ Budweiser stopped by again because he is filling in for Missi. We were asking him some questions and Bryant Gumble just so happened to be in the studio so we let him ask Bud some questions. It was very telling about his character and we found out that, among other things, he is a misogynist, enjoys putting expletives on the air (which he got fired for twice), he would endorse tampons and he loves to over exaggerate in his commercials.

Today on the Mikey Show

~ We had Slash from Velvet Revolver call in to talk bout his new book titled "Slash". He said that one story that is getting a lot of attention is when at a hotel in Arizona he was hallucinating and ran over a maid, got sued and almost got arrested. He also explained how "Welcome to the Jungle" came together. He said that he actually wrote the riff for that song on an acoustic guitar with a distortion pedal and that it was the first song Guns and Roses had ever written.

~ Our boy, Omar, from the promotions department came in and shared his brothers story with us. His brother, Esteban, has been fighting Leukemia for quite some time now and he reached out to us last week asking for prayer. He said that since then his brother has been showing signs of improvement. He is giving the "thumbs up" and squeezing hands. Omar said that it truly was a miracle because the dr. gave him little chance of recovering. So keep Esteban and his family with your prayers and good vibes, they seem to be working!

~ William Shatner called in and Sean nearly wet himself with excitement. As soon as William got on the line he spent a solid five minutes talking about names with "y" sounds at the end of them like Mikey and Eddie, then he demanded that we refer to him as Billy or he wouldn't answer any questions. Mikey then gave Billy a little taste of his George Takei impression which Shatner told him to "retire". He was a strange guy but a great interview nonetheless.

~ We played another game of cell phone mishaps. A P1 who called herself "boyfriend killer" called in and told us about the time her sister called and forgot to hang up the phone and proceeded to hook up with "killer's" boyfriend while she listened. She then told us that her sister had done the same thing with her boyfriend after she had broken up with the guy. I think this chick needs new friends…too bad you're stuck with family.

Today on the Mikey Show ….

~ Ashlee discussed her date that she went on with P1 Chris, our listener who was in studio on Friday. She recapped the events of her night with him which started out by going to check out the Joe Rogan show at the 4th and B. They had bad seats so Ashlee used her "charm" to get them some box seats. Towards the end of the set Joe called her to the stage to see how her date was going but the audience started to turn on her. Luckily, her date showed up just in time and saved the situation. She said they had a good time but her friends warned her not to get involved with listeners and that got in her head so she said she's gonna "see where it goes".

~ Joe Brucato came in and sang a few songs as well as a duet with a P1. He started off by doing an acoustic version of his song "Waiting for my kingdom to come", dedicating it to the fire victims. Then we brought in P1 Jenny, who won a sing off on Friday for the chance to come in and sing a duet with Joe.They sang a song called "Let it be me". It sounded wicked awesome and everyone was really pleased with the end result.

~ Sean got into a heated discussion with the people in his home owners association. He was concerned about a hike in H.O.A dues and went to the meeting with his wife. He said that he and another man went through every point of the budget and realized that the numbers didn't add up. When it was his time to address the board he refused to step down from the podium and he and his wife were ejected from the meeting. P1 Nasty called in and asked Sean how much the rate hike was because Sean is notoriously cheap. It turns out Sean was causing a scene over a $7 dollar difference.

~ We asked the question if you were handed an envelope which had the date of your death on it would you open it? No one on the show said they would open it but callers had different ideas. One caller asked if we would live more dangerously if we knew what day we were going to die. Callers had different ideas and we discussed.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We found out the results of Boston Rob's DNA test results today. B. Rob walked us through his day and how everything played out for him. He explained that when he made the initial call the lady who was working there tried to rush him off the phone. She eventually told him that he would have to call back because they could not find his results. B. Rob had to be reminded from Zeth in a text message later to call them and when he did he found out that the baby was NOT his.

~ We had another grotesque segment of Bizarre foods with Boston Rob today. Today was one of the most horrendous things, I Boston Rob, believe to be a food item. I ate a thing called Mud Fish, which is a disgusting fish to begin with, that is fermented in a bunch of gross fermentation stuff anyways. The stench of it permeated in the studio all morning and is still on my fingers (which I practically cloroxed to get the smell off). The video is on our site www.mikeyshow.com.

~ We spoke with Harvey Levin of TMZ today. In the news today, there was some wicked scandalous audio of Dog The Bounty Hunter talking about how he uses the "N" word. Harvey talked to us about how that audio got out, explaining that his son must of recorded the conversation and was not in good relations with his father to leak that to the press. Harvey also told us that tonight on TMZ, they have the surveillance video of Paris Hilton in the porno shop in Canada throwing a fuss about them selling her sex tape.

~ We played Tone Deaf Karaoke today. We heard Ashlee's rendition of Donna Summer - She works hard for the money, which was impossible and no one figured out. We also heard her sing songs from Nickleback and Fiona Apple. For some reason Ashlee didn't seem to have her heart into it so we asked her what was wrong and she said it was because our program director, Shauna, told her in a meeting that she didn't like tone deaf. So we brought Shauna in to talk to Ashlee about it and Shauna defended herself by saying "Honesty is my policy" but she quickly changed her tune when she actually was a contestant and had fun doing it.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We debuted our first ever Sean TV. Sean watching everything on television so we decided to give him a segment where he can tell us about a favorite obscure show of his every week. These are shows that are usually not on people's radar. Today we got to hear about I Love New York 2, which is the second season and is a spin off of The Flava Of Love featuring the chick they nick named New York.

~ We had another Cheaters Hotel today. Today's P-1 chick that called in was kind of sketchy to begin with and seemed a little off. She told us that her man had been evacuated during the wild fires and she had not heard from him during the whole ordeal. She went on to tell us that they still have not spoken since the fires. When we talked to the guy and he said another girls name, the P-1 that set him up freaked out. Then the guy tells us that she is not his girlfriend and they only went on two dates. The chick turned out to be a little crazy and very stalker-ish.

~ We shared some ghost stories for Halloween today. Mikey told us his ghost story from Hawaii. He explained that while in Hawaii on vacation in the middle of the night he heard a lady singing a Hawaiian song in his house. We also all told our favorite scary movies. Mikey told us that his favorite movie is The Thing, Eddie went with Jaws and Sky said the 6th sense.

~ Omar, our friend in the promotions department, wrote us all an email about his brother. in the email he explained that his brother has had leukemia for a while now and has been into he hospital but nothing has been going right for him. He wrote us looking for us to help with the power of prayer. He is going in for one more surgery and could possibly bleed to death. He explained that it would destroy him and is hoping for our prayers to hopefully help make a miracle happen. If you are reading this or heard it this morning, we all ask you to say prayers for Omar and his brother Esteban along with their family.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We announced a Fire Relief Fund Raiser that all of the Clear Channel stations will be participating in this Friday down at Qualcomm. The Mikey Show will be broadcasting live for the entire show at the Q while excepting donations from listeners. The broadcast will continue all day until 7 pm.

~ We received a call today from this P-1 lady who was pretty upset over what the fire victims were being labeled compared to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. She was wondering why the people in San Diego were being called evacuees and the people in New Orleans were called refugees, she believed it was because the people in San Diego were rich and white and the people in New Orleans were black and poor. Mikey had to look up the definition of both words and then explain exactly to her why they were called different things.

~ Mikey talked about his friend Joe Brucato coming in the studio on Monday. He is a singer song writer that sounds a lot like Bob Sieger and is coming into the studio on Monday to sing a song that will be used into eh new Angelina Jolie movie. The song is a duet but he will not have the chick that sang it with him in the original song. He suggested to Mikey that we try to get a P-1 lady who can sing to come in with him. Friday we will have P-1 ladies call in and sing for us on the air and the best one will come in on Monday and do the duet with Joe.

~ Miles McPhearson and Fire Fighter Battalion Chief Jimmy Fiero came into the studio today. Jimmy explained what he is in charge of day to day and talked us through his experience of the wild fires. He told us that he was tracking the fires and knew he was going to be in for a long few days because of the conditions around the county. He explained that the recent drought had made San Diego the driest it had been in 90 years. He said the temperatures in the mouth of the fire were up around 500 to 600 degrees. He told us that the first 48 hours you get no sleep. He explained what they wear to fight the fires and described what the Santa Ana winds are. Miles told us about turning The Rock church into an evacuee shelter and how they only had 8 people evacuated there surrounded by 800 volunteers, so they turned into a distribution center to send out supplies to other places needing it. They got officially silenced to medically treat people and eventually got over 300 evacuees there.

~ Dr. Phil made an appearance on the show today. This P-1 guy wrote in explaining that his wife wanted him to build them a haunted house for Halloween. Dr. Phil came on the show to give this guy some advice saying that if he makes the haunted house and "accidentally cuts someone's arm off with a chainsaw" in the haunted house he will never have to make another haunted house again.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Sky and Ashlee, I believe, are getting worse at answering questions. Today the questions were "what is 3 mile island?" which Sky could not answer for the life of her, "what president delivered the Gettysburg Address?", "what is the name of the two cities in Japan that nuclear weapons were used on?" and "what office did Clinton hold before he was president?". The P-1 lady that played today won Dumb Chick Challenge, no surprise.

~ Shawne Merriman called into the show today. He talked to us about how he was evacuated from his home during the wild fires. He told us that he grabbed his scrap books of when he was a kid and some stuff from his high school days, mostly things that could not be replaced. He told us that it was a real bonding experience for the team. He also told us that he plans on giving out candy for Halloween and that when he was younger his favorite costume was the Jason mask.

~ Brandon Vera came into the studio today. He walked us through his fight against Tim Sylvia and how he broke his hand on the first punch he hit Tim with. He said that his thumb caught him and pelt back like a banana peel. That kind of threw him off his game plan for the rest of the fight. During the breaks of the fight, his coach told him to forget about the broken hand and punch with the other one. He explained how bad the aftermath of losing a fight is and how its full of doctors visits and surgery (in his case).

~ We spoke with P-1 Aaron today. He lives out by where the fires happened and told us his story about going out and fighting the fires. He and his friend went to a rental place and rented a 800 gallon water trailer and a hundred foot long hose and went out to different neighborhoods to fight the fires. He never once thought twice about going to help out and told us by the end of the week the fire fighters were calling him and his friend the fire dudes.

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. Today we heard the questions "what did Boy Blunder claim was on his face in the bear story?", "who does the voice of Sammy Sosa?" and "what are the names of the three O.J.'s?". P-1 Thelma played and lost today but Mikey is allowing her to come in, mainly due to the fact that Sky feels like she will be a problem and that she will bring shenanigans with her to the studio.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played Ashlee Pyramid today. Ashlee was stumped when the category of "things a ring announcer says" came up. The other category her and Sky had a hard time with was "things in a trunk". Some other categories were "characters on the Flintstones", "things to do in the snow", and "Will Smith movies".

~ Erin O'Sullivan called into the show. A picture of her and her mother hugging was on the cover of the UT and there was a story about her street in there. They had lost their house and the street she lived on was one of the most destroyed by the fires in San Diego county. She talked to us about getting the reverse 911 call at 4 in the am and how her dad stayed behind to help evacuate their neighbors. She told us that when she was leaving the neighborhood all she could see was flames. They have since gone back to check out the remains of the houses on the street and she told us that fire fighters had salvaged some things for their neighbors and put them on the lawns of the homes.

~ We had our very first Mikey Show Battle of the Bands today. Yesterday, P-1 Tyler and P-1 Reid called us wanted to display their vocal skills for Mikey, trying to get the chance to promote themselves and their bands on the air. Today, Mikey had them come in with guitars and do an acoustic set for us, 1 song winner gets to promote whatever they want. Reid went first and played a song for us that he wrote about his wife being deployed then Tyler went and did a new song from his band Santori called Night of the Full Moon. Tyler ended up winning but Mikey let both of them plug their stuff. Tyler's band, Santori, plays tonight at Dream Street and Reid does not have a band but said he is still looking.

~ Eddie and the Charger Girls made their football picks today. They disagreed on these games, Eddie took St. Louis over the girls pick of Cleveland, the ladies picked Minnesota over Eddie picking Philly, The ladies picked the Bills and Eddie picked the Jets, and the final disagreement was Eddie taking Green Bay and the ladies taking Denver.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We returned to our regular show, keeping with all the updates we received about the fires.
~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. We heard questions like "what is the nickname of the British flag?" and "what state is called the Garden State?". Then we heard the question "which plant has healing and soothing powers for a sunburn?" and all the fellas went of making sunburns jokes referencing Sky. We heard the plant might be called the "drama plant" or that the scientific name might be called "overeactus gohomeus".

~ President Bush came to San Diego today to see what the wild fires have done to the county and to have lunch with fire fighters. He managed to stop by the studio and rap with the show for a little bit. He told us the reason it took him so long to get to San Diego was he had just got a new ipod nano and he was working on a new war plan for Iraq by playing Halo 3 and observing the technology the game uses. He told us he was amazed at how quickly we rebuilt the French Quarter and then announced that he is re-running for President in 2008.

~ A couple of P-1's called into the show today telling us that they are in bands and wanted to see if Mikey would let them come in the studio to play for us. Mikey had each guy sing a song for us and then Mikey, Eddie, and Sky judged them in the style of American Idol. Both guys were good enough to come into the studio tomorrow and they will compete in an acoustic battle of the bands Mikey Show style.

~ We played -1 Trivia today. Today both P-1's were really good, they named who on the show had cats, what Eddie's jobs on the show are and Mikey decided to let both P-1's come into the studio tomorrow.

~ We played some Tone Deaf Karaoke today. We really felt that the city of San Diego could use some of Ashlee singing to cheer them up but after hearing her sing it might not of helped as much as we thought it would. Also, P-1 Bru donated 50 dollars to the Red Cross for every P-1 that got a song correct. Today we heard songs from Salt N Pepa, Rick Astley, George Michael and Sir Mix A Lot.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We started a new segment on the show called Bizarre Foods with Boston Rob. This is where we take exotic and weird foods from far away lands and make B. Rob try it. Today we ventured to the Philippines and B. Rob ate Balout. Balout is a half developed duck embryo. B. Rob ended up throwing up and if you missed it, the video is on our webpage along with the pod cast.

~ From NBC's Football Night in America, Andrea Kramer called into the show. She talked to us about being in the business for 20 years and that the worst part of the job can be the weather, she explained that they will be in Denver this week and that the weather is expected to be 10 degrees with the chill factor. Sky then chimed in during the interview starting off with saying that "I don't know who you are" only to follow that with " I googled you and found you on a "would you do me" site", to no one's surprise she was pretty offended. If you missed this it is also on the podcast section of our web site and its brilliant.

~ We had some Tough Love with Eddie today. Eddie helped out a guy who him and his boy had a lot of trouble scoring with the ladies, he wanted Eddie's advice on why he was having trouble. The second P-1 that Eddie helped heal was a guy whose wife was a real beating and was with holding sex because he would go hunting, he needed Eddie's expertise when it came to beatings. The final email was about a guy who was recently divorced and in his late 40's. He explained that he was only attracted to girls in there young 20's and wanted Eddie's take.

~ We debuted a new song from Ashlee and B. Rob about their recent fighting. They did a remake of the Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow song Picture. In the song they both took shots at each other and it didn't seem like they were making up but it did help quiet the fighting for today.

~ We did a Cheaters Hotel today. P-1 Elise was trying to find out if her boyfriend was cheating on her because her friend told her that she seen him out to lunch with another woman. When we ended up getting him on the line and asking for a name he said his lady's name. When we got to talking to him he explained that he was on a client lunch because he is a sales guy. The chick was excited and happy but her man was not too enthused.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We spoke with joe Rogan about him being in town next week for his comedy show. He told us his ideal place to do comedy is at a club with no more than 200 people, bigger venues are not always better. He told us that his act is "life through his eyes". He talked to us about this weekend's UFC fights as well and told us that our boy Brandon Vera has a chance against Tim Sylvia but Tim is so big compared to Brandon. He said Brandon has a lot of tools at his disposal to use in the fight but because he is a lighter heavy weight it will be a tough fight for him.

~ We spoke with Katie Darrell from TMZ.com and found out about how she got the job and what she is currently working. She used to work with Mike back in the day and told us (sarcastically) that to get where she is at now she had to sleep her way to the top. She told us that the latest on Britney is that she was spotted at Star Bucks again, she said that Brit has an addiction to Star Bucks and the paparazzi.

~ We listened to the audio of Matt Lauer interviewing Senator Craig who was caught dong some gay foot tapping in a airport bathroom. Matt always asks the hard hitting questions and we ate it up today when he addressed things like what his family thought about it and if they asked him about the charges. We also heard the senator talk about how he believes the cop was profiling him. Mikey brought up the fact that we might hear of someone coming forward to say they had been with the senator but Eddie explained most of the gay bathroom sex stuff is anonymous.

~ We spoke with A.J. Smith the G.M. of the Chargers today. He talked to us about the acquisition of Chris Chambers from Miami and told us that he does not know why they let him go but are more focused on the fact that they got him. He told us that football consumes his life year round. He told us that on his ipod he has the Four Tops, Beach Boys, The Temptations and Dave Mathews Band.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We spoke with Matt Cox of the Austin Fire Department. There was a huge news story about 3 UT students that went spelunking in this cave in Texas and got trapped. Matt was the public information officer for this story and talked to us about the rescue and the cave. He explained that the cave takes up to 6 hours to get through and most of it you have to be on your hands and knees to get through and sometimes even on your stomach. He said for the rescue it took them about 6 hours to find them and then another 3 to get them out.

~ We had another segment of Cell Phone Mishaps today. We heard some great stories today, mostly pretty tragic ones about the discovery of a loved one cheating or talking trash on a friend. We had this one girl call in and tell us about her cell phone that when people call her she can hear them talking while its ringing. She is coming up to the studio tomorrow to show us the phone.

~ Mikey told us about an executive decision he had to make with his family. He told us that there is a pumpkin patch that he brings his family too because his wife grew up going to it but from now on they will not go anymore. He said its too dusty and the lines are too long to make the experience good. We got Rebecca on the line and they decided together that when Jake is older they will bring him there but he is too young to know where they go now. That lead us into a conversation about this new form of discipline called "self calming". Mikey explained that its kind of like a time out but you put the child in a room until they are ready to come out and behave, they calm themselves down. We took calls from P-1's on there thoughts and heard from some that had tried it.

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today was a sorry batch of guys, they tried and gave it a good attempt but with songs from Hall and Oates, you have to be on point to get the judges approval. We also heard "What's Love Got To Do With It" and "What a Feeling".

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played another excruciating game of Dumb Chick Challenge today. This was brutal to listen to today, these broads can't get a question correct. It took about 10 minutes for anyone to even get on the board. We heard questions like "who assassinated Martin Luther King Jr.?", "where is the mandible located?" (which the P-1 lady said Europe), and "what continent is the Great Barrier Reef located off of?".

~ Shawne Merriman called into the show today and Josh Lewin was in studio during his call. He talked to us about the win against Oakland yesterday. He talked to us about his 2 and a half sacks and told us that on occasion Norv will come over and celebrate with him and congratulate him. He also told us that he grew up in the same neighborhood as Lamont Jordan and they played against each other in high school. Josh was hanging out with us as well and told us about his gig with his band Independent George this weekend.

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. Today P-1 Rude Dog killed it in trivia, he didn't even give the chick playing him a shot. He went straight for the three pointer and then the win with a two pointer. We heard questions like "what is Sky's latest nickname?", "who on the show collects snow globes?", and "what is the name of the P-1 female who is also an attorney?".

~ Ashlee and B. Rob had a therapeutic session of "I Don't Like It When…". These two have been fighting a lot the past couple of weeks and Mikey figured they should use this as a therapeutic opportunity. They took shots at each other saying things like "Ashlee does not like it when Rob complains about having no money but gets "Boston" tattooed on his neck" and Rob told her he doesn't like the headbands she wears or when she sings and flings her arms around". It broke down and they went at it towards the end, so Mikey had to wrap it up.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Tough Love with our boy Eddie returned. He handed out a healthy dose of Tough Love not only to the P-1's that wrote in but also to most of the members of the show. The first P-1 emailed Eddie asking him about getting into radio. He explained that his friends had told him he had a voice for radio and he should pursue it as a career. The second email came from this chick whose friend was starting to act like Britney Spears because she idolized her so much, she went on to say that she had been going commando all the time as well. The final email was about advice for this chick because her neighbors kept stealing her kids toys.

~ We had a great batch of Tone Deaf Karaoke today. Ashlee killed it on the songs today but in the first song which was a Cher song, she didn't give us enough Cher so we had her do it live. Then we heard some Notorious BIG "Hypnotize" and finally Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca".

~ Mikey finally got around to reading an email he got from a P-1 guy. His wife had taken their kid out of school because he was getting bullied. The wife had him out of school for two weeks and was home schooling him for that period of time. We took calls from P-1's on what they have done to teach their kids about being bullied and what they told their kids to do to handle it.

~ Lew Bush came into the studio today. He brought us some of his wicked awesome BBQ today. He talked to us about when he was on the Chargers and told us about Ryan Leaf. He explained that they would have dinners where they would leave one of the players the entire bill if it was their birthday or if they were a rookie. He also talked to us about his kids and how he will not force football on them but if they want to learn he is there to teach them.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We debuted a new segment on the show, it’s a spin off of "Whatcha Doin at the Court House?" called "Whatcha Doin at the Unemployment Office?". B. Rob went down to an unemployment office and talked to the different people down there and found out what they were up to. We heard from a seasoned vet when it came to the unemployment office, he told us about his day there and how long the days can be. He also told us that he served six years for selling cocaine and that’s how he ended up there. The second guy explained that he comes to try and get work but mostly to charge his portable TV and watch his shows, oh yeah and to smoke pot safely as well.

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today we heard many different variations of Wuss Rock songs. The P-1's now have their own renditions of Wuss Rock songs which included lyrics like "I love John Stamos" and something about Brett Favre. We heard songs by Michael Jackson and Journey.

~ We had a huge discussion about potty training today. In the news there was a story about potty training and how parents will shame their kids when potty training. The story went on to explain hat there is a new method that parents are trying where instead of potty training with diapers they puts underpants on the kids and look for signals that the child has to go, when they get the signals they directly use the toilet and no diapers involved. Sky and Mikey discussed (professionally of course) how Mikey thought it was too tough to do that with a baby and Sky thought it was a great idea for many reasons (one being it helps the environment with not having diapers in landfills).

~ We did another Cheaters Hotel today. P-1 Adam had written us an email about his lady and when we talked with him today he told us that he suspected his girl of cheating because her behaviors had recently changed. She would leave the room when she received phone calls and was deleting all her text messages. When we did the cheaters call, she said another guys name. P-1 Adam ended up knowing exactly who she was talking about. She then informed us that Adam had cheated on her with a chick from myspace.com about a month earlier. It was crazy.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We spoke with Beth Halloway, the mother of Natalie Halloway. She told us that she has been going around the country spending a message to kids in college and high school also churches about personal safety when traveling. She walked us through the first few days of when she found out that Natalie was missing. She told us that a chaperone had called to inform her. We also found out that while working with the Aruban authorities and they asked if they could work quicker the authorities asked how much money they had. She has a book out about what she went through and told us the book is her testimony about the situation.

~ We played Bombed at the Beach today. Today Mikey was not picked and Sky was, this is the first time in almost a year that a P-1 has picked Sky to play. It was the wrong move because she came in last, Sean ended up winning after a tie breaker between him, Eddie and the P-1 that played. We heard questions like "what is the price of stamps?", "which Disney movie would you find Belle in?", and "which two states are completely detached from the United States?".

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. Today the P-1's that played were both really good and Mikey decided to let both of them come in on Friday. We heard questions like, "who's mom is hot?" and "what did a listener rename the DK2?", also "what was the name of the doctor that Sky's mom had worked with on linking hyper activity to food coloring?".

Today on The Mikey Show...

~ We spoke with Caveman Nick from ABC's show Cavemen. At first he did the interview as himself and told us about how he got the role and that he took the role because the script was great and he liked the character he was going to play. Mikey then asked if we could do the rest of the interview with him as the Caveman, which he agreed to. Mikey asked if he could drive and he responded with "yeah, do you have arms". Caveman Nick was very offended with all of Mikey's questions.

~ Shawne Merriman called into the show today to talk about the big win yesterday. He told us that during yesterdays game everyone was doing their job and what they were supposed to be doing. He said that they really didn't celebrate too much last night when Mikey asked if some of the guys from the teams went out for drinks after the game. He explained that he was exhausted after playing in the high altitude in Denver. He broke down the oxygen tanks and told us that they don’t really work right away but by the second quarter it kicks in.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Ashlee finally won after close to a forty minute game. Ashlee was not into the game at all today and kept telling us how much she did NOT care about the questions except when she would get them correct. We asked the ladies these questions today, "what is the name of Michael Jackson's compound?", "what is the name of the 3 day festival that took place in Bethel, N.Y. in 1969?", and "what band had Keith Moon as a drummer?".

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We spoke with Alton Brown for the second time in a week. He talked to us about being from Atlanta and when Mikey asked about his favorite soul food place he told us that there is not one but 5. He also talked some trash on the show Top Chef, saying that "the chef on that show are one step above Denny's". When he gave of the run down of people on the Food Network, he had almost nothing bad to say about anyone. He said that Emeril is a gentleman, Tyler Florence is very genuine and Paula Dean is the real McCoy. Mikey called his brother Sam, who is a chef, to talk to him about Alton's comments about Top Chef.

~ Peter Farrelly, who co-wrote Dumb and Dumber and has a new movie coming out in theaters on Friday, called into the show today. He told the guys that he was going to say some prayers for them tonight after watching the Padres lose last night. He talked to us about his new movie called The Heart Break Kid and told us that its about a guy who falls in love and on his honey moon with his lady falls in love with anther lady. He told us that the funniest person he has ever met is Bill Murray and said that he is frighteningly funny.

~ Mikey read us an email from a P-1 about being called pet names like honey, sweetie and baby. the email explained that this girl who worked in customer service was being called babe and baby by all the guys that would go to her. She thought it was inappropriate and wanted the show's take on the topic. Sky told us that when she was a waitress, they would call the customers sweetheart and one waitress even went as far as calling them lover. She explained that the customers liked it and it helped get them better tips. We discussed the situation, type of business and sex / age of the person making the comments.

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today was a batch of songs that Mikey loved, we heard some Gloria Estefan "Conga", we heard the Honey Drippers "Sea of Love", and Madona's "Border line". Today P-1 Buckley the King of Wuss Rock played and again killed it.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We spoke with Shawne Meriman and Josh Lewin today. They were both really disappointed in the loss yesterday. Josh didn't know what was going on with eh team and told us that its mind boggling because the Chargers are a much better team then Kansas City. He described the team right now as something that has sprung a leak and it needs to be fixed. Shawne told us that even though the fans are bumming right now, the players are taking it much harder. He said that it was shocking and unbelievable that they lost again but did not blame it on the new head coach, he explained that the players are the ones that have to go out and execute the plays. He talked to us about bringing back the Lights Out dance and about next weeks game in Denver.

~ We talked to Nikki Sixx, of the band Motley Crue and the author of The Heroin Diaries. When we got him on the line, we had been in this conversation about cassette tapes and Mikey just happen to be singing Endless Love which did not impress Nikki. He talked to us about his new book and he explained that he has been keeping diaries since 1979 till the present. He told us that he is going to burn them soon because he doesn't want anyone to get a hold of them when he passes on and sell them. He had Mikey take him out with some more of the Endless Love and then said he might have to do a cover of it.

~ We played one of the longest games of Dumb Chick Challenge in the history of the game. The chicks could not get a question correct today, they are usually dumb but today they were flat out stupid. We heard the questions "who is the de facto leader of Libya?" which Sky had no idea what "de facto" meant, "who is on the dime?", "what is Muhammad Ali's birth name?", and "what does NAFTA stand for?".

~ From the show Top Chef, Brian Malarkey came into the studio. He talked to us about how tough it was to be in the house with all the other chef's on Top Chef and how the competitions don't really determine who is a great chef but they do make great television. He said that LT is a fan of his place downtown Ocean Air. He told us about an experience he had with Alton Brown where Alton pounded half a bottle of wine. He also gave us his take on Gordon Ramsey which he said he does not think he is as tough as he comes across.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Mikey and P-1 Sarah showed off their survival skills today. They got into it over who was a better survivalist, Bear Grylls or Les Stroud. The challenge between them was who could start a fire quicker. First using only wood and tinder and then after the first break if neither one could get it started then they would get a flint. In the first break Mikey had some smoke going but we didn't see any spark. P-1 Sarah had virtually nothing going on and we were kind of confused as to whether she knew what she was doing

~ We played another wicked long version of Dumb Chick Challenge. These broads can't get any of the questions correct so the game now goes for about 45 minutes. Sky ended up winning today, it took forever and a day though. We heard questions like "what was Princess Di's boyfriends name?", "What European city is called "the city of lights"?", and "what word is memo short for?".

~ We had our weekly football picks. First, Mikey picked against P-1 Attorney Vanessa. They have a bet that who ever loses in picks over the entire season has to write a letter talking about how much better the opposite gender is. They disagreed on quite a few games for the weekend. Eddie then picked against the Charger girls again. They disagreed on the Green Bay vs. Minnesota game, Eddie took Green Bay. They disagreed on the Seattle vs. San Francisco game, Eddie took San Francisco. This should be an interesting week with all the disagreements that went down.

~ We played Ashlee Pyramid today. Today Sky could not decipher what Ashlee was trying to describe. One category was 'things found in Balboa park" and Ashlee could only come up with gay men and trees. The other categories were "monopoly game pieces", "games at recess", "things a Jedi says" and "Kevin Costner movies" which Ashlee also drew a blank to.

Monday on The Mikey Show… We will get our weekly update on how the Chargers game went with Shawne Merriman and in the studio from Top Chef, Brian Malarkey.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ B. Rob revealed something today that he had been getting advice on from the show. He explained that a chick who used to live out her but moved back to Boston, recently got in touch with him and told him that she has his baby. He finally talked about it on the air today. He said that they had hooked up a couple of times when she lived out here (which was about three years ago) but he had always worn a jimmy cap when they were together. He is going to have to get a DNA test to just make sure that the kid is not his. P-1's called with their advice and support for B. Rob.

~ We played Tone Deaf Karaoke with our special little lady Ashlee today. Today was a very interesting batch, P-1's could not figure out what Ashlee was singing and the song was "I Remember You" by Skid Row. We also heard her sing the Beach Boys "Kokomo". Ashlee said that when she is in her tone she thinks she sounds like Gwen Stefani and when she raps she thinks she sounds like the rapper Eve, not true.

~ We tried to guess at the top ten movie 1 liners today (the list was not all that Sky had hyped it up to be). We guessed for a while and a lot of the good movie quotes were not on there like "Luke, I am your father". Ashlee kept saying quotes from Dumb and Dumber and any other Jim Carey movies. Some quotes that were on the list were "You Talking To Me" from Taxi Driver, "I'll Be Back", and "Say Hello To My Little Friend".

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We spoke to Dick the winner from Big Brother. He told us that he has already received the half a million from Big Brother. He told us that he and Danielle wanted to combine their winnings and then split it but the show would not let them because of legalities. He told us since the show ended he has been wicked busy with producers talking about a television show and his own radio show. He told us that he was surprised that anyone in America liked him, he expected to be hated by everyone.

~ From the Food Network, Alton Brown called into the show today. He told us about the new show The Next Iron Chef where they took 8 of the best chefs in America and made them compete to be the next Iron Chef. He said the show is awesome, its like watching the Tiger Woods of Foodies compete. We found out that he takes his kitchen ware to a hot rod shop where they do professional hot rod paint jobs and gets his kitchen stuff painted there.

~ We talked more about the cook off between Shauna and Mikey. Today we revealed what the main theme ingredient is going to be… and it is Garlic. They will have to make 3 dishes using garlic. Eddie told us that they will be judged on taste, plating, and originality. Also, Mikey and Shauna will have Sou Chef's to help them out. Eddie will be working on Mikey's team and Sky will be on Shauna's team.

~ B. Rob went out and had another session of Drive Thru Therapy. B. Rob made a visit to Jack in the Box where the lady at the drive thru was laughing hysterically when he pulled up and it was extremely weird. He tried to get some advice from her about getting made fun of at work for being short but she would not talk to him about it. The next spot B. Rob went to was Taco Bell/ KFC where he vented to the drive thru worker about Britney Spears.

~ We got into the topic of people getting jewelry stuck on their body. We had Eddie's dad on the line to talk about how he could not get his wedding ring off. He told us that he had it on his hand for 25 years and they had to cut it off when his wife bought him a new one. We heard from P-1's that had to have rings cut off, piercings pulled out with pliers and even having to cut their own piercing out with an exacto knife.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We announced the movies for the 28 hour show today. (DRUM ROLL) The movies are in order that we will be watching them… Top Gun and Foot Loose. How do you like them apples?

~ We spoke with a Halo 3 expert today. Libby told us that this is the one of the best video games she has ever played. She told us that she already beat the game and that it only took her 10 hours (which is crazy). She works for gamedaily.com where she reviews video games. They are expecting Halo 3 to earn in the neighborhood of 140 million dollars today.

~ Dr. Phil made another whacked out appearance on the show today. Mikey got an email from a P-1, who is a black guy, who thinks his female boss is a racist. He went on to explain that he has been with the company for a while and he has never been promoted. Furthermore, they have been promoting people not as experienced as him. Dr. Phil got all gangsta for a minute and told the P-1 that they are "straight trippin'" and that was "wiggity wiggity whack".

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today was an awesomely gay batch of feminine men. They nailed the songs harder than... well, never mind. We heard one guy belt out the song "Saving All My Love" and he was good. Then another P-1 ended up not knowing the lyrics but threw in his own lyrics in there singing "wish I could ride on the back of a jet ski with Ryan Seacrest".

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Today P-1 Jessie played with our two dumb chicks Ashlee and Sky. Some of the questions were "what is a government run by the people called?", "what does BMW stand for?", and "how many teeth are in the human mouth?".

~ Shawne Merriman called into the show today. He talked to us about the loss yesterday to Brett Favre and The Green Bay Packers. He told us that there are three things that they need to work on the first is to be more physical, the second is they need to make tackles, and finally they need to make better decisions. He told us that it has nothing to do with the coaching staff, with what the team is going through. He also said the fans need to stop harping on them and there is no one more upset then the players.

~ P-1 Johnny called us today. This guy has called before and he basically just wants to get on the air, he is kind of a "D". He called Mikey's Christianity into question. He said that Mikey is a hypocrite because he makes fun of people, his examples were that Mikey makes fun of Brittney Spears and dumb chicks. Mikey handled this guy extremely well with much respect. Mikey got a lot of support from the listeners and all the show, the guy was a douche.

~ Mikey read us an email about hiding receipts from your spouse. They guy in the email explained that he had recently told his wife that she needed to stop shopping so much and that they needed to start saving money. He then went out and bought a new Mac book. He has been hiding the receipt and the Mac book from his wife and wanted some advice. Mikey said the guy needs to man up and just tell his wife.

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. P-1 Valerie won today beating out a very dedicated P-1 who just had a hard time today with the three point questions. He had the heart and Mikey ended up letting him come into the studio on Friday with the winner. There were some great questions asked today, like "who's dad is a high roller in Lake Tahoe?" and "before Shawne Merriman was our Chargers correspondent, who was it?".

Tomorrow on The Mikey Show… Dr. Phil makes another appearance on the show and maybe this time he will give a P-1 some advice they can put to good use (probably not).

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today with a new spin on it. B. Rob has graduated from Dumb Chick because he is wicked smart. Now we get a P-1 lady from the audience to play against Ashlee and Sky. Today Sky actually pulled a win out. Some of the questions were "who won the civil war?" and "who sung the good ship lollipop?". Before we played Ashlee had a breakdown and started crying. She explained she didn't know why but then we went into the game where she played while in tears.

~ Jeff Goldbloom, the actor who was in Jurassic Park, Independence Day and The Fly called into the show today. He talked to us about this new movie he has out called Pittsburg. He told us that the movie is kind of a mockumentary and he plays himself where he falls in love with a 23 year old chick and they get engaged after three weeks. He told us that he is very proud of this movie and he helped produce it. He also told us that eh started writing this movie about 7 years ago.

~ We played Ashlee Pyramid today. This game is the one where Sky tries to decipher what categories Ashlee is describing. Ashlee and Sky were on fire today. Some of the categories today were things that a dentist says, thing Simon Cowell says and things a sports caster says (which were all brilliant listening to Ashlee try and describe).

~ Eddie and the Charger girls placed their picks for this weekend's football games. Eddie and the ladies agreed on most of the games again this week. They agreed on the Jets over the Dolphins, the Steelers over the Niners, and Chargers over Green Bay. They disagreed on The Giants (Eddie's pick) and Redskins (Charger girls) game, The Buc's (Charger girls) and Rams (Eddie's pick) and Eddie took the Raiders to beat the Chargers girl's pick, the Browns.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Today was the triumphant return of Tough Love with our boy Eddie. Eddie gave certain P-1's the verbal punch in the face that they needed. Today he dished out his brutally honest tough love to a girl who was having some trouble with her boyfriend. She loves the fall because she can wear her sweaters but her man hates her in them and says that she looks fat. Eddie then moved on to a guy who got drunk and slept with his best friends girlfriend. The last email that Tough Love went out to was a chick writing Eddie asking for money to help her get out of some court troubles.

~ We spoke with Gary Sommers a memorabilia and antique appraiser. He talked to us about the O.J. memorabilia stuff that he was trying to steal. He told us that nothing that was there was worth over 20 grand. Eddie and Sean then started to tell them about the Star Wars things that they have and he appraised it for them. We also took calls from P-1's who had cool stuff they wanted appraised.

~ We talked about Sean and the back story behind him joining the show. Mikey told us the story of how he worked in the same building as Sean but never really knew him. He read some of Sean's comedy stuff and found it to be wicked funny that it brought him to tears. They had a meeting about him joining the show and the rest is history. We also discussed how many of his sound effects are not your run of the mill sound effects but stuff from local news casts and weird moments that Sean thought were funny.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We spoke with UFC legend Chuck Lidell today. He is only 3 days away from his next huge fight. He told us that he knew exactly what went wrong with his last fight when he lost to Rampage. He said he led with a body shot and ended up getting caught. He explained that he enjoys fighting and never gets bad nerves or butterflies in his stomach. We found out that he is good friends with Lorenzo Neal and will be a Chargers fan as long as he is on the team.

~ We played a new game called Fact or Fiction. The name explains itself, what we do is Mikey will read a statement and listeners or members of the show will have to guess if the statement is fact or fiction. Today some of the facts we found out are that the submarine was built before the steamboat, possum's have 13 nipples, and the first medicine in pill form was bayer aspirin.

~ We were playing the percentage game and Mikey read us that 8 percent of siblings do not talk. This was an interesting percentage to hear about and it actually hits home with a member of our show. Eddie started to tell us about him and his sister do not talk anymore and its been like this for about 2 years. He explained that even though she was at his wedding (which surprised him) she did not say a word to him. We took calls from P-1's who are in similar situations, we heard from P-1's that have not talked to siblings anywhere from a year to 15 years.

~ Zeth got done up with make-up again today, paying off day 2 of the bet. We had a P-1 come in who is a professional make-up artist. He got all done up real nice today with fake eyelashes and lots of pretty sparkly make-up. While this was going on Zeth and Ashlee started getting into it, in the midst of their argument a P-1 called in and said Ashlee should teach Zeth how to sleep with show guests. This erupted into a big fight with Ashlee and she told us that she was quitting.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ MMA legend Ken Shamrock came into the studio today. He came in to promote his IFL team and let us know that he is going into the world of promoting. He talked to us about the beginnings of the UFC and how back when it started it was in it's purest form, when you would have a guy who was strictly stand up taking on a guy with great ground work. He told us about the time he broke a guys leg doing a ankle lock because the guy forgot to tap out. He told us a little bit about his youth and how he was put in juvenile hall when he was 10 years old. He told us the story about how him and his wife got together, they knew each other when he was 13 and she was 10. He told us that for this weekends fight, he is picking Chuck as long as Chuck stays awake and does not go out to party the night before.

~ Zeth had to begin the pay-off of his bet today. Zeth lost a bet to B. Rob over the weekend. Zeth bet that the Chargers would beat the Patriots but they didn't and now he must wear a dress and make-up for three days. We filmed Ashlee putting on Zeth's make-up this morning. ~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today was an not so gay batch of guys but one P-1 called back at the end of the show to try and redeem himself. When the P-1 called back in Mikey gave him another song and he made up his own lyrics. He went on to sing about Ashlee hooking up with all the guests that come on the show which made him an automatic winner.

~ We had another segment of Cell Phone Mishaps. We heard some great stories today and a really disgusting disgusting one. P-1's stories today ranged from a guy talking smack about a friend who failed to pay him for a bet he lost to a couple who thought they hung up the phone and didn't realize the mother was still listening in while they talked about the boyfriend taking the girlfriends virginity earlier that week. Then the grossest one of all was a P-1 who called up his date to see if she was ready for him to come and pick her up and she didn't hang up and he heard her taking a vicious number 2.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ James Lipton, from Inside the Actors Studio, called into the show today. Tonight is the start of the new season and Charlie Sheen will be his guest. When Mikey asked if he is going to address any of the stuff that has been going on in Charlie's personal life, James kind of got upset and had to explain that his audience is filled with Masters Degree students and they don't care about his personal life but how he learned to do his craft so well. He told us about his book that is coming out, explaining that it has been two years in the making and it's not only a back stage pass to his show but also his memoirs.

~ We talked to Shawne Merriman today. Shawne told us that the team got in at about 5 this morning and that he had not slept yet. He said he had been reviewing films since the time they got off the plane. He told us that he does not believe that the loss to the Patriots defined their seasonal and that its only two weeks in. He also told us about the plane ride home and how members of the team that have been there for at least 5 years ride in first class and everyone else is in coach. He told us that he sits alone the entire flight home.

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. Today P-1 Ashlee took on P-1 Albert. P-1 Ashlee got smoked and P-1 Albert will be coming into the studio on Friday. They had to answer questions like "whose birthday is on April Fool's day?", "who on the show hates mustard?", and "who on the show does Eddie say they smell like onions?".

~ B. Rob, Sky and Ashlee showed us how dumb they really are today in Dumb Chick Challenge. Today we heard questions like "who wrote the Declaration of Independence?", "what does the I.R.A. stand for?", "what was the document called that freed the slaves?" and "What was the name of the ship that was sunk in Pearl Harbor?". B. Rob won today and the ladies didn't do to well.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We spoke with Mr. Padre himself, Tony Gwynn. He walked us through the day he got inducted into the Hall of Fame. He told us he ate nothing that morning because of his nerves and that the one thing that calmed his nerves was watching his daughter sing the national anthem. He told us that he enjoys interacting with the fans and that when he goes out to get gas or go shopping he never rolls out with a posse. He told us that he always brings a Sharpe around with him in case fans want an autograph.

~ Rita Cosby called into the show. She has a new book out about the death of Anna Nicole. She told us that in her book when she writes that Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead had gay relations, she actually cites the sources. We asked her about her voice and the dramatic transformation it has gone through. She explained that she had to have vocal experts check out her vocal chords because there was something wrong with them and that it was not naturally like that.

~ Eddie made his football picks against the Charger Girls for the weekend. Eddie and the ladies agreed on every single game except for the Washington vs. Philly game which Eddie took the Eagles. The other game they disagreed on was the Detroit vs. Minnesota game. Eddie took the Lions. Eddie was 14-2 last week.

~ We started talking about tipping and how much is the most you ever have tipped and it broke out into a "Why Sean Tips horribly" conversation. He explained to us that he does not think that he is a bad tipper, he just believes that he server really needs to good above and beyond to get any tip. He told us that 15 percent or 15 dollars is the most he will tip, no matter what. Then we heard a story from him about going to a buffet and him not tipping at all because the servers do nothing at a buffet (in Sean's eyes).

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Today we heard questions like "what is a baby goat called?", "who is Winston Churchill?", "who is the c.e.o. of apple (which Ashlee couldn't answer for the life of her, even though we talked about him the other day) and the question that Sky won it on "what it the capitol of Egypt?". You read that correct, it's been about a month since Sky has won and she earned it today.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Kyla Ebbert, the girl who was humiliated on a South West flight, came into the studio today. She talked to us about the incident, telling us that she had flown on South West before in almost the same exact attire that she was wearing the day they tried to kick her off the flight. She explained that it was mid-July and 110 degrees in Tucson (her destination) and that the outfit she was wearing was completely appropriate for a lady her age. She told us that all she wanted was an apology from the airline but they still have not given her one. She still does not know who made the complaint and has some suspicion that it could of been the gate agent at South West, who also was the guy who pulled her to the front of the plane and told her she looked inappropriate. While she was in the studio, we played audio of B. Rob going to the airport yesterday dressed in he same outfit that she was wearing the day she was confronted. B. Rob tried to purchase a ticket on South West wearing a short skirt, a lady's tank top and a baby gap sweater. They actually were going to let him buy one and said that they had no problem with his attire. Although, some of the employees at South West had some comments for B. Rob and were wondering what his mother had to say about him dressing that way.

~ Kid Rock called into the show today. He has been in the media's eye all week because of this Tommy Lee fight he got in at the VMA's. He talked to us about the whole thing and told us that he is embarrassed to have his name mentioned in the same sentence as Tommy Lee. He told us that the scuffle was not something that started that night and that the two have been semi-feuding for the past five years. He also explained that he would really love to end this thing with Tommy but Tommy seems a little immature. We found out that Kid Rock's favorite movie is Forrest Gump.

~ We played Google Master Challenge today. Sky hates this game because the past few times that she has played, the P-1's have smoked her. Today on the first question, Sky got roughed up. Even though she almost said her name at the same time as the P-1, she still lost. Then she made an awesome come back and beat the rest of the P-1's that tried to challenge her. We heard questions like "what day and time was Kennedy assassinated?".

~ We played Tone Deaf Karaoke today. Ashlee was in the zone today with her tone. We heard a great batch of Ashlee song's, which is very hard to come by. This first song that Ashlee did was Crazy town's "Butterfly", then we heard her sing Blondie's "Call Me", and finally L.L. Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out".

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played "Who Can Sean Beat Now?". Sean came out swinging from the start and nailed his first song which was Owner of a Lonely Heart but then things got ugly. The next few rounds Sean lost touch with the waver inside him and the P-1's got the best of him. He got really upset with "chill town" today and they had to stop cheering for him for a round. We heard the song "I Wear My Sunglasses at Night" and "New Moon on Monday" from Duran Duran.

~ P-1 Aaron called us today complaining about something awful his wife did. Him and his wife expecting a baby and his wife just signed them up for birthing classes on Sundays. These classes will take up half the day and his big dilemma is Sunday's are for football. All the guys on the show understood where this guy was coming from but the ladies had a serious problem with him wanting his wife to change the class days.

~ We spoke with you tube celebrity Chris Crocker today. This very effeminate guy has a you tube video that is getting a lot of hits because of the hysterical breakdown defending Britney Spears. In the video he is bawling his eyes out telling the media to leave Britney alone. When we asked if he was gay (because it was wicked obvious), he responded with "duh". He told us that Britney is the greatest singer ever and when we asked about Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, and Mariah Carey, he told us that none of them compare. He also said that her performance the other night on the VMA's was one of the best he has ever seen and that the reason she was a little off was because she had not performed in so long.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ From the San Diego Chargers, # 95, Shawn Phillips called into the show today. He talked to us about the hit he put on Rex Grossman during Sunday's game. He told us that he expected to put Rex out for the rest of the game with that hit. We found out some interesting stuff about Shawn today. His favorite food is "Manwich", his favorite movie is "300", and he loves the shows House, C.S.I. and Fresh Prince.

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today the first few guys were the worst ever at trying to sing the Wuss Rock songs. Then we had P-1 Tarzan step up to the plate and kill it. He sang about licking a lollipop on his first date (we all think that date was with another man). We heard songs from Berlin and the song "Mandolin Rain".

~ Mikey made the announcement today about when the 28 hour show is going to happen. We got calls from the P-1's with them telling us about their favorite 28 hour show segments. We got an over whelming response about how P-1's love the last few hours in the show when every one is loopy and over tired. The 28 hour show will be on October 3rd this year, mark your calendars.

~ B. Rob and Zeth go into it today over the Patriots Chargers game this weekend. Today some news came out saying that the Patriots were filming the Jets to help them cheat. Zeth started talking smack to B. Rob off air which led to a bet on-air. B. Rob and Zeth have made a bet on this weekend's Patriots / Chargers game. The loser has to wear make-up and a dress for three days. B. Rob has the Patriots and Zeth has the Chargers.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Shawne Merriman called into the show today. He talked to us about yesterdays game and how he was a little sore today. We discussed his new Nike commercial and how it's the greatest commercial on television right now. He told us that they originally had a stunt double for him but he told them that they didn't need one and that he would do all of his own stunts. Eddie asked him if guys will squeal when he makes a huge hit and he told us that you can hear the air come out of them but they don’t make too much noise. Josh Lewin, the voice of the Chargers, was in the studio today while we were on the line with Shawne. Josh told us that David Wells is a huge Chargers fan. He said he was talking to him before he pitched the other day and all Boomer wanted to talk was Charger stuff.

~ Mikey read us an email he received from a P-1 today. It was from this P-1 chick that had recently went to go see a financial advisor. She told us in the email that while she was there the financial advisor started hitting on her. This brought us to the conversation of people being hit on in inappropriate situations. P-1's called in and told us about getting hit on while in meetings with real estate agents and even when there spouse was using the restroom. We also heard from a P-1 who was the guy hitting on the ladies in uncomfortable situations.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. B. Rob took another win in the competition today. Both Ashlee and Sky did not score a single point today. Some of the questions were "who is the captain in the book Moby Dick?", "where is red square located?" and "who is the Italian inventor that created the radio?".

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. Today P-1 Chris played P-1 Erica, who killed it. Erica right off the bat nailed a three point question and then confirmed her victory with a two pointer. Mikey ended up inviting Chris into the studio this Friday along with Erica. Some of the questions on today's trivia were "what is Mikey and Eddie's hometown?", "whose title is assistant producer?", and "who on the show is very particular about the pens they use?".

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We had another rendition of The Mikey Show's therapy session called "I Don't Like It When…" with Eddie and Ashlee. Today's session was not as helpful as Mikey says they should be. Ashlee started it off by telling Eddie that she is offended when he acts like he is going to throw up when he eats her baked goods. Eddie then told Ashlee that he was not a fan of her UG boots. That’s when things started to go downhill. They started screaming at each other about things that they didn't like about one another.

~ We played one of the most intense/ stupidest games of Dumb Chick Challenge thus far. B. Rob answered a question but thought about it first and everyone started to accuse him of cheating. B. Rob had a meltdown and went on a rampage. Then B. Rob started to throw the competition because everyone was saying that he cheated. Ashlee finally won it but they had to take the title from her because the answer B. Rob gave before was actually correct.

~ Shawne Merriman, Mr. Lights Out himself, called into the show today. He talked to us about his off season training, we found out that Shawne does Muay Thai. He told us that he will still be doing the "Lights Out dance" but not as much, he said that he will try to hold back on it. Shawne told us that at first he was not a fan of the new uniforms but they grew on him. He said that this first game is going to be a very intense hard hitting game.

~ Wuv, the drummer from P.O.D., came up to the studio today. Wuv came to the show and told us all about making records. P.O.D. is working on a new album right now. Wuv told us that when they are in the writing process they literally go back to garage band style and hit up a garage and jam out trying new stuff. He explain how the recording process goes and how the record label will give you money, which you can do whatever you want with, to make the album. He said their last album cost 1.2 million and the highest he has heard of is Korn's album which cost them five million.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Mikey took his ADD test on the air today. We had Mikey's wife on the line to give us the honest truth answers about Mikey's ADD ways. Some of the questions were "do you have a short attention span?", "are you easily distracted?", "do you have a tendency to be easily bored?", "do you have poor listening skills?" and "do you lack attention to details?". Mikey aced this test. Some P-1's called in to argue Mikey getting put on medication for his ADD, saying that his ADD ways are what make him great.

~ Mikey reads us an email from a P-1 telling us about a person at their work who cries all the time. The email went on to say that this chick in the office that this P-1 works in always cries to get her way. Mikey said he doesn't know anyone like that in our building but his mother is like that. Sky told us that back in San Jose she felt like she was becoming "that chick" because she would cry then a few days later win employee of the month.

~ Eddie took on Kaylin and Carly, who are Charger girls, in football picks for this week. Every week Eddie will be going up against these Charger Cheerleaders in taking picks for that weeks football games. They both agreed that tonight the Colts will beat the Saints. They also agreed on Denver beating Buffalo, New England beating New York, and Philly beating Green Bay. They disagreed on Pittsburg and Cleveland (the ladies taking Cleveland) and the Cincinnati/Baltimore game (Eddie took Cincinnati).

~ Mikey told us about the women's fantasy football league his wife is in and how much of a disaster it is. He explained that P-1 Attorney Vanessa is the Commissioner of the ladies league and screwed the entire draft up. They had to do the draft automated because none of the ladies could/wanted to get together. Now that the league is messed up, she has gone to Russell, up in sales, for help. We had them both on the line today so she could apologize to him because she was screaming at him through email (yeah, the guy who was helping her).

~ We played Tone Deaf Karaoke today. Today Ashlee thought she hit her tone but we all agreed that she missed the mark. We heard he destroy the song Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind, as well as Crazy Town and the song Butterfly, and finally a Heart song.

~ Wuv, the drummer from P.O.D., called into the show today. He wanted to hook us up with tickets to the P.O.D. show this weekend. He explained that they are doing a intimate show at Canes on Sunday night for Marcos. He gave us 10 pairs of tickets to give away on the show.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Today we were playing the percentages game and we got a call from a wicked stuck up P-1. The percentages dealt with women and how they felt about themselves when it comes down to their looks. This P-1 Shelly called us saying that she is the "perfect size which is apparently a size 2. She went on to say that the problem with most women is that they are lazy. She went on to critique all the women in San Diego and made a lot of P-1 ladies upset. P-1 chicks called us to explain that they might not have time to get to the gym and others said they were happy with the size they were.

~ We spoke with Kimberly King from channel 7/39 news. She told us that she will be moving to the evening news and getting back in the 7/39 helicopter. She also came on to promote a charity event that she is participating in this weekend. The event is called Ride With Out Limits and it is for Cerebral Palsy which her niece is diagnosed with. The event is a 200 mile bike ride which can be done in teams. It happens this weekend and the website to check out for more information is www.ridewithoutlimits.com.

~ We did another Cheaters Hotel today. We spoke with P-1 Laura and she explained that she has been with her man for the past 3 years and things have changed in the relationship. She said she stopped getting the text messages everyday from her man and that he does not seem as interested in her as he used to be. When Mikey called him posing as a hotel he gave the name Michelle for the gift basket. Once his girl started going after him, he tried to play it off like he knew it was a set up. The truth came out eventually and he told us that Michelle is a girl from his work. He went on to blame his girlfriend for him wanting to cheat because she was getting boring.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Sky scored no points AGAIN today, Ashlee got on the board with a couple of 1 pointers and B. Rob won his 10th game. Some questions in today's game were "What is the study of plants called?", "Name a state that borders Florida?", "What is a Simeon?", and "What does USPS stand for?".

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today P-1 Buck called in and he got the song "Voices Carry". He missed a few words in the beginning of the clip he was supposed to sing and we ended up giving him the lyrics after the third time he sang it for us. Then he still couldn't get the lyrics write and we had him sing it about five more times. It was hilarious and is on the pod cast in case you missed it.

~ Mikey got an email from a P-1 today telling us about her daughter starting high school. The email stated that the daughter did not get any of the smart genes and that she is a lot like Ashlee. Mikey called in a pro and Dr. Phil came in to dish out some of his irrelevant and redneck-ish advice. Dr. Phil told us some wise words that he heard from his Uncle 1842 and then took another shot at Sky saying that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to read the news. Dr. Phil then started to do a Cricket spot in the middle of his advice.

~ We debuted a new song today about Michael Vick. It is to the great 70's hit by Eric Carmen "All By Myself". It is called "All Alone In My Cell". It is sung in the perspective of Michael Vick and talks about fumbling the soap on a rope.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Ashlee proved to us that she could be a Miss Teen USA contender. We took the exact questions from the Miss Teen USA pageant and asked Ashlee them. She said it was her dream come true to be in a pageant one day (some one should of told her it wasn't a real pageant and we were just trying to see how dumb she is but I digress). We asked her who she prefers as a role model Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan and she said none of the above but would rather Fergie or Gwen Stefani. When we asked her about her biggest risk she has ever taken in life she told us a story about when she went sky diving, genius.

~ Josh Lewin came into the studio today. He talked to us about last nights game against San Francisco. He told us that while observing the team, he knows they are ready for the real season to begin. Josh also talked about some of the rookies and how he thinks they will do this year. He told us about his fantasy football team and who he picked.

~ We played Ashlee Pyramid today. Today was not the best day for Sky and Ashlee in Ashlee Pyramid, they had a little bit of trouble. Some of the categories were types of dinosaurs, Halloween costumes, countries in Africa (which Ashlee could only name one), names of the 12 Disciples (which Ashlee could name none and Sky had to pass on it) and things police officers say.

~ We played the Dumb Chick Challenge today. Ashlee and Sky had a wicked rough outing in today's competition. B. Rob was the only one to score points in today's competition. Some of the questions that were asked were "Who is the God of the Sea?", "What was the name of the cult in Rancho Santa Fe?", "Who was the CEO of Enron?", "How many chambers are there in the heart?" and "What body of water is so salty that nothing can survive in it?".

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ B. Rob was at the court house finding out "Whatcha Doin' At The Court House?". Today we heard from a guy who was up at court because of a second DUI. He told the story and explained that him and some buddies were in PB and one of them got kicked out of a bar. Then they decided to grab a twelve pack and drive to Vegas but the car broke down in Vista. Another person B. Rob talked to was there for domestic violence charges but explained that he was set up by the chick who made the charges and he is innocent.

~ We played Tone Deaf Karaoke today. Today we heard a classic ruined and it was kind of insulting to hear. She tried to sing R.E.O. Speed wagon's "I Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore" and it was horrible. We also heard her sing Jimmy Eat World and Lady Marmalade.

~ Mikey had a survey that talked about work place princesses. He had some information on what a work place princess is, telling us that they have a ridiculous sense of entitlement, most of the time they are a woman, they expect special treatment and favors and occasionally make other people do their work for them. All the guys on the show could relate to knowing some one or two like this (cough sound, Sky and Ashlee). We took calls from P-1's who had work place princesses at their work.

~ We received a call from P-1 Amber today who had a situation that she was uncomfortable with and wanted our input on. She told us that her boyfriend has a chick roommate and it has been making her uncomfortable and she thinks that something might be going on. She explained that they have been dating for a year and he ahs been living with this chick for about the same amount of time. The roommate always makes him dinner and will walk around in only a towel in front of him. We told her our opinions on the matter and took calls from P-1's on what they thought and heard from some that had been in a similar situation.

~ We spoke with Mikey's parents, today is their 51st wedding anniversary. We spoke with his mother and father, they both told us that they are more in love with each other than they were the first time they kissed. Mikey's dad told us that they key to a long relationship is keeping your mouth shut as well as respect and communication.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We talked with college football expert and one of the hosts from ESPN's College Game Day, Lee Corso. He talked to us about SDSU and told us that we need to give Chuck Long, the SDSU new head coach, a few years before he can get some players he wants down here and create a winning team. He told us that once we start winning then good players will want to come to SDSU and that its also tough because good players want to be in the PAC 10. He told us his pick for the national title is LSU and he believes they will beat Oklahoma. He told us that his pick for the Heisman is Colt Brennan from Hawaii.

~ We played "Who Can Sean Beat Now?". Today Seanie O'Boy, the greatest 80's know that tune player in the history of earth, had a rough outing. After his first folly, Ashlee jumped on him and called him an idiot which made him shut down. The only way to get him back in the game was for Eddie to kick Ashlee out of Chill Town (Sean's fan club). We heard songs from the Fine Young Cannibals and Animotion.

~ Mikey read us an email he received from a P-1 concerning his newborn and the time the child spends with the grandparents. The P-1 said that his in-laws were holding his 1 month old baby too much and that they were taking up a lot of time with the child. He wanted our thoughts on it. We took calls from P-1's that had similar problems and they told us how they dealt with it. We heard that they should allow a specified time that the grand parents can have with the child. We also heard from P-1's that had been on the outs with their in-laws or parents because of baby holding time and not getting enough.

~ We heard from P-1's about their Cell Phone Mishaps. Today the P-1' called us with some rich stories, one guy had accidentally dialed his girlfriends mother while he was talking about how he had been cheating on his lady. Another guy called his boss and thought he hung up only to get a call back from the boss after he had talked a bunch of trash about the boss. This other P-1 lady found out her boyfriend of a year and a half had a wife.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We discussed the O.J. Simpson book that is coming out soon. Mikey told us that his mother-in-law is going to buy the book when it comes out because the money is going to the Goldman family. Mikey told us that he will not buy the book. He read a insert from the book online which had all the crazy murder stuff in it and thinks its too creepy and will not get the book.

~ We talked about Madden '08 and had P-1's call in with their opinions of the game. Zeth told us that he is not a fan of the game and said that the game control is too much. We took calls from the P-1's and almost everyone we talked to was a fanatic, saying that Madden '08 is the greatest football game in the history of video games. P-1's also gave us tips on what systems are better to play Madden '08 on.

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today Sean got really upset when a P-1 did not know the lyrics to a Pet Shop Boy's song. The first P-1 we had play was ready to dance mustache to mustache with an iron worker. We heard the songs "If You Don't Know By Know" and "Back In The High Life".

~ Zeth and Ashlee got into a scuffle today. Ashlee can be pretty brutal when it comes to scolding people and Zeth caught some of the wrath today. They got into it and it made it real uncomfortable for a while on the show today. We found out that the whole fight was over a misunderstanding but neither of them would apologize to each other when Mikey played some romantic music to set the mood.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. We recapped the total of wins that each player had. Out of a total 14 games (not including today's game), B. Rob had won seven, Sky had won 4 and Ashlee had won three. Today B. Rob added another to his win column. They had to answer the questions "what is medusa's hair made out of?", "Australia was a penal colony for what nation?", and "what does ATF stand for?".

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. We switched things up in trivia today, now we are doing trivia in the same way we do Dumb Chick Challenge where the P-1's pick questions worth either 1, 2 or 3 points (3 being the hardest). Then the first one to 5 points wins. Today P-1 Troy won trivia. Some of the questions asked to the P-1's were "what comedians had a huge feud on The Mikey Show last year?". "who on the show has the biggest DVD collection?", and "name one of Sky's two cats?".

~ Malcolm McDowell called into the show today. He is in the Rob Zombie version of Halloween and talked to us about working with Rob Zombie. He told us that he was a fan of Rob's music and that Rob is extremely intelligent. He also talked to us about working with Stanley Kubrick and the movie Clockwork Orange. We found out that Malcolm has been in 156 bodies of work.

~ We played the Michael Vick press conference live on the air today. Michael Vick held a press conference to make a public apology for his actions. The show was split on whether or not we felt like Vick was sincere about his apology. We discussed how Michael Vick said that he made a mistake and whether or not what he did was a mistake. P-1's called in to weigh in on the conversation, this was a passionate topic for a lot of people.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Ashlee actually won today. She was defeated after being picked last by the P-1's today but made a huge comeback after getting the question "what famous artist cut his ear off?" wrong. Other questions asked today were "what was the first cloned sheep's name?", "what is the deepest ocean?" and "who had a face that launched a thousand ships?".

~ B. Rob debuted new parody of Chocolate Rain today called Ashlee's Brain. B. Rob wrote a song all about Ashlee to the musical styling's of Tay Zonday's Chocolate rain, he also made a video parody for the song as well. You can see it on our website, www.mikeyshow.com under "new on the show".

~ We played Ashlee Pyramid today. Ashlee and Sky were on fire today even though there were some really tough categories. Some of the categories were things associated with gymnastics, things an umpire says (which was hilarious to hear Ashlee describe), things a cowboy says, things on a safari, pickup lines, and types of pies.

~ Miles McPherson came into the studio today to talk about the grand opening of the ginormous new Rock Church opening in Point Loma this weekend. He told us about the 3600 feet of movie screens they have at the church to help with the services. We also got his take (which is extremely interesting) on things going on in the news today like Michael Vick, the NBA that was on the take, and Barry Bonds.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Eddie and B. Rob had another sports challenge today. We were broadcasting live from the Wave House in Mission Beach where Eddie and B. Rob played some beach volley ball. B. Rob had a girl from Cal State San Marcos as his teammate and the broad that was supposed to be Eddie's teammate flaked on him. Eddie did have Olympic volley ball player Steve Timmin's as his coach though. To fill in for Eddie's flaking teammate, Ashlee and Sky played on Eddie's team. Boston Rob finally won his first competition against Eddie today and says that victory taste so freaking sweet.

~ UFC Fighter Brandon "The Truth" Vera came down to the Wave House to hang out with the show for a little while today. Brandon has been MIA for a little while and today he announced to us that he will be back in action fighting Tim Sylvia on October 20 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He briefly touched on why he had not had a fight since last November, telling us it was managerial issues. He told us that he has recently signed a six fight deal with the UFC and would like to try to fight Cro-Cop. He talked to us about his training regiment and how he goes about training on a regular day and then how he prepares before a fight. He said he just opened up a new gym in Chula Vista called Alliance and the thing sounds freaking sweet, it has a full cage, a ring and even a salon for the ladies.

~ Mikey read us an interesting email he received from a P-1. The P-1 was visiting Minnesota and was on the I-35 bridge about 10 minutes before it collapsed. That got us talking about times we had been somewhere and right after we left something crazy happened. Eddie told us that one time when he was working in fast food he had left and right after he left the fry-alator had over flowed and burnt the chick that took over for him. Sky told us that a week before the hurricane hit New Orleans, her, Eddie and Mikey were visiting there. B. Rob had a comment like Sky's and said when Pearl Harbor was attacked he was almost there but instead he was born in 1982 and half way across the world.

~ We played Tone Deaf Karaoke today. We tried playing with P-1's on the phone but because we were having technical difficulties we ended up playing the game with P-1's who were down at the Wave House. We heard Ashlee's versions of the Gorillaz "Clint Eastwood", Steve Miller Band's "Space Cowboy", Vanessa William's "Save The Best For Last", and Pearl Jam's "Better Man".

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We debuted a new Boston Rob segment where he takes a hidden mic out and tries to get some therapy at fast food drive thru's, it's called Drive Thru Therapy. B. Rob went out yesterday to a drive thru and vented to the guy taking his order about his wife not doing the dishes for the past three days and when the guy suggested he use the dishwasher, B. Rob commented that that's his nickname for his wife. The second place he went to he talked to the lady about how everyone at work gives him a hard time about his neck tattoo.

~ Tay Zonday, the composer and singer of Chocolate Rain, called into the show today. He talked to us about being on Jimmy Kimmel, VH1, CNN, and the game channel G4. He told us that he is a third year graduate PHD. student of American studies. Eddie and Mikey had been wondering what his ethnicity was and he told us that he is African American, American Indian, Irish, German, and Dutch. He explained to us that his lyrics could be taken lightly just for fun or if you really dissect them they talk about racism. At the end of the interview Sky pointed out that he might not be into girls after Ashlee kept asking him about women in his life. Tay pointed out he does not like labels, so we figure him to be gay.

~ Mikey read us an email he received from a P-1 that was about his ex-girlfriend who is still friends with his parents. He explained in the email that they had been broken up for a while but the ex still goes to all of the family functions. The email went on to say that it was now really awkward with the new girlfriend around. We took calls from P-1's about their similar situations. We talked to a P-1 whose ex lives with his parents and then a P-1 whose ex-husband ended up marrying her little sister.

~ Sky told us today about how she was being adored by a P-1 while she was out at dinner last night. Sky explained to us that she was out having dinner and a lady from across the restaurant was starring at her the entire time she was eating and finally a waitress came up and asked Sky is she was Sky from The Mikey Show, letting her know that the patron across the way wanted to know. Once the guys heard about how famous Sky was and how tough it is for her to be out in public, they unleashed on her.

~ We had this P-1 call us today talking about how she got her daughter a bunch of designer clothes for her back to school shopping. She told us that her daughter knows and loves the designer name brand clothing and she got her a bunch of it for her new back to school clothes. She went on to tell us that all of the other mothers were giving her a tough time about it, she felt they were jealous but we questioned what she was teaching her daughter. We took calls from P-1's on their take about kids knowing and wanting designer clothes.

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today was a great batch of wicked gay dudes. Sean said it perfect when he described the guys as wanting to share a lollipop with a pro wrestler. We heard them sing the songs "Conga", "All I Need Is A Miracle", and "Border Line".

~ Sky told us today about an incident that she got into yesterday. She explained that she was leaving Vons and walked by a car that had a dog in the backseat. She saw that the windows were only open about a half inch and that the dog was not comfortable in the heat. She put her groceries in her car and came back to wait by the car. The owner had not come out yet and she placed her purse on the car to use her cell to call animal control. The lady came out at that moment and they got into it. The lady started yelling at Sky and Sky called the lady Michael Vick. We took calls from P-1's to see if they saw the incident and even talked to P-1's that would leave their dog in the car while they shopped.

~ We talked about women and their obscene road rage. Sky was telling us that she read an article about women and how their road rage is much worse than guys. We got calls from P-1's that told us about their road rage experiences. Some P-1 ladies called and told us about throwing a full Starbucks at a car, screaming and following people to their house, and even throwing their car in park on the highway because they were being tailgated.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Some of the questions asked were "What is the largest desert in the world?", "What cereal is Sonny the bird coo coo for?", Ashlee actually had a real tough time answering that cereal question. B. Rob ended up winning today after answering what the scientific formula for carbon dioxide.

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. Today we had two die hard P-1's go at it. It was P-1 Big Mike taking on P-1 Marsala (who is the crazy P-1 that came into the studio with her helper dog, which she has for anxiety). They had to answer questions like who are the 3 dumb chicks that compete at Dumb Chick Challenge, who has a cat name "the professor", and what fast food joint did Eddie used to work at.

~ We had the return of The Mikey Show Questionnaire. Today some of the questions that everyone had to answer were "Whose past would you want 20/20 to do an investigation on?", "Who you would be in alliance with we were on Big Brother?" and "Who would you want to set you up on a blind date?". Ashlee got wicked upset with B. Rob today because he only picked her for one thing but when her questionnaire was read, he was only picked for 2 things.

~ Mikey told us a really strange thing that happened to his wife this weekend. He said he was napping this weekend and heard the doorbell ringing over and over again. His wife came up to the room after a while and explained who it was and what happened. She told him it was the community landscaper and he had asked her to go to the movies with him. Mikey told us this and explained that he is most likely an illegal immigrant and he felt bad for the guy and thinks he is slow. We took calls from P-1 and they overbearing told Mikey that he should be very careful of that guy and call his supervisor and let them know what he did.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. B. Rob went from first in the last game to last in this game and he scored no points. Sky ended up winning the competition today. Some of the questions were "what does I.Q. stand for?" and "what is a baby horse called?". Sky thought that a baby horse was called a pony.

~ We played Bombed at the Beach today. Eddie had to play for P-1 Paparazzi today and was not thrilled at all about that. Today was the first time ever we saw Eddie throw the game. We heard questions like "what charge did Paris Hilton go to jail for?" and "who wrote The Cat in the Hat?".

~ We played Ashlee Pyramid today. It was an interesting game today, some of the categories were cities with pro baseball and football teams (which she said Green Bay), things in emergency room, things an auctioneer says, and one of the funniest ones yet sounds you hear at the zoo.

~ Sky told us that she was talking with a friend about how they spot whores. She was telling us that if a chick is wearing a really short skirt, then she assumes that the chick is a whore. We took calls from P-1's on what made them think chicks are whores. We heard everything from glittery halter-tops to chipped nail polish and that’s when the P-1's started to bash Sky and Ashlee. They started saying things like if you go to a bathhouse and if you loose your camera and pocketbook.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played Tone Deaf Karaoke today. We heard a new tone from Ashlee today and it was not nice to listen to. She did her version of Sound Garden's Fell on Black Days. It was horrendous, never do you want to have someone whose sings like Ashlee do a Chris Cornell song. She also butchered a Toad The Wet Sprocket song.

~ Mikey received and email from a P-1 today whose was going through a situation with his wife. He wrote saying that he went to take his son to football and his wife was not having it at all. She did not want her son playing football because she thought he would get hurt. Mikey did not know what advice to give this guy so he called in Dr. Phil. Dr. Phil told him about the advice he once heard from his Uncle Michael Vick and then told his to give his wife an "injury time out".

~ Mikey has been telling us about how he has been seeing this new therapist lately and how much it is helping him. He said that his therapist gave him an exercise to help his relationship with Sky. Its called "I don't like it when…" and you tell the person what honestly bugs you about them. They person hearing the stuff just has to respond with "Thank you" and nothing else. Mikey and Sky got some good stuff out today like Mikey telling Sky he does not like when she uses her baby voice and Sky can't stand when Mikey says "what are we children".

~ We played Google Master Challenge today. Sky could not win for the life of her today. The P-1's laid on whooping on Sky today, so much so that we are thinking of canceling the game. She won the last round today but not really because her first answer that she chimed in with was wrong.

~ There may or may not be a dance off between Ashlee and Sky. At the end of the show today Ashlee started dance like she has Parkinson's disease and from there a challenge was presented to Sky. Ashlee thinks she is a better dancer then Sky and we want to have a dance off to prove it. Sky was not having it at all but we are working on her.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We talked about lending money to friends and what your specifications in lending friends money. The reason we had to discuss specifications of lending money to friends is because Sky would make her friends sign a contract depending on how much they wanted to borrow from her. She said anything over 500 dollars she would make her friends sign a contract to confirm that they would pay her back.

~ We talked about O.J. releasing his book about how "if he did" murder Nicole Brown-Simpson. We discussed how the Goldman family is now going to get some money out of the deal. We watched, on the Today show, Nicole Brown's sister Denise talk to the publisher of the book. We discussed how any money the family's make off the book will be blood money and whether its right or not.

~ We announced another Eddie and B. Rob Sports Challenge. During one of the breaks today Volley Ball came up and B. Rob started lipping off to Eddie about how he played Volley Ball in high school and he was good. Eddie didn't believe it for a minute and thus another challenge was born. We are going to play doubles volley ball, Eddie versus B. Rob, and we got P-1's to be on Eddie and B. Rob's teams. It is all going down at the Wave House next Thursday.

~ We played "Who Can Sean Beat now?" today. At first Sean was smoking the competition even thought he was a little reluctant to play because of the whooping he took at this game on the cruise. Then a P-1 shut him down and to make it worse the band he was beat at is his favorite band, Depeche Mode. It was humiliating for him and Chill town was let down.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We debuted the song Chocolate Rain made by this guy and is sweeping the nation right now on youtube.com. This guy wrote a song that is different from your everyday song, if you have not heard it, it is up on the pod cast and we have a link to it from our website www.mikeyshow.com.

~ We spoke with Brad the editor of Guitar World. Van Halen is doing a reunion tour and everyone is not sure if its actually going to happen. Brad talked to us about the Van Halen reunion tour because he is good friends with Eddie Van Halen. He told us that he is happy Wolfgang is playing in the band and that the kid is really talented. He also talked to us about Eddie and how he keeps most of his personal stuff out of the public eye.

~ We got a call from P-1 Sarah today and she told us about how she can't stand her husbands filthy habit. She told us that they have been married for 7 years and she has never complained about him using chewing tobacco. She told us a story about recently she had to draw the line and give him some stuff about it. Mikey asked her if he dipped before they were married and asked if that would be a deal breaker for her. We then started discussing deal breakers for us. Eddie has a lot of them including the way a chick eat with a fork. Mikey told us that if a broad farts, burps or snores that is a deal breaker.

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today we had a ok batch of guys, nothing too gay, but we did hear P-1 Buckley kill it on the first song. He set the bar wicked high and no one else could live up to the gay standard he set. We did hear a great Rod Stewart song during the game.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ Brian Welch, also know as "Head", former Korn band member called into the show today. He has an amazing story of leaving the band Korn and finding God. He told us about being addicted to drugs and that his heart was not one hundred percent into the band anymore. He went on to explain that if he didn't stop doing the drugs he would have died and soon. He said he was high one night and asked God, as a last resort, to take the drugs from him. A few weeks later he was clean. He talked about the negative feedback and how even Jesus was criticized but you have to look past that. After the interview Mikey broke down and explained to us that he wanted to be on fire with the Lord again like Head is. He told us that other things had been more important and taken his focus, it was a wicked intense moment. He told us that he has a tough time dealing with all the criticism from listeners when they judge him about his religion.

~ B. Rob went down to the Court house to find out "Whatcha Doin At The Court House?". B. Rob told us about the bad vibes he was getting down at the court house and how he almost got into a fight when he first got down there. We heard the stories from a guy who had a run in with a SD police officer. The guy called the cop stupid and then claimed that the cop had been harassing him. We heard from another guy that was arrested in his own backyard for being under the influence but when he was booked down town and asked what he was on, he told the cops he was on "madness".

~ Mikey brought up how Sky read in one of her magazines a survey on how men take compliments from gay guys. Mikey was wondering how guys would react to a compliment from a gay guy, he explained that he is just happy to get a compliment and takes no offense at all. We took calls from P-1 guys on whether or not compliments from gay guys bother them, we heard mostly that it doesn't bother them but those same guys were not ok with inappropriate comments.

Today on The Mikey Show...
~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. B. Rob could not name which planet has storms on it that you can see through a telescope. Sky could not name the 2nd president of the United States and amazingly enough Ashlee took her second win in a row. One of her questions that she got correct was answering the artist that painted The Last Supper. It was embarrassing for Sky (mostly Sky) and B. Rob.

~ Mary Lynn Rasjkub called into the show today. She told us about a new show that she is putting on which she called "her version of stand up". She talked to us briefly about getting a new dog (because the last time we talked she had a lot to say about her old dog) and she said that she was collecting dogs now. She also addressed the rumors and pictures Sky found of her and Rush Limbaugh. She told us that she does not really watch much television and she reads to fall asleep. Mikey invited her to come down and hang out with us during the 28 hour show.

~ We talked about more cell phone mishaps with P-1's. We got a call from this P-1 chick whose boyfriend lied to her about going home and because his cell phone called her she ended up catching him at the party he left her house to go to. When she found him he was in a room with another chick. We also talked to a guy who did not know he was on speaker phone while her was on the line with his wife. His mother in law was in the room and he talked a bunch of junk about her and still to this day she is not a fan of his.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We had Adolpho Celaya, who is a survivor of the USS Indianapolis, came into the studio today. Last night on Discovery channel Shark week kicked off and premiered the movie Ocean of Fear. This was based on the story that Adolpho lived through. The USS Indianapolis was sunk by a Japanese sub and the guys had to survive 5 days in the Philippine ocean which is infested with sharks. He told us about his experiences and how traumatic it was to live through. He said while in the water he did not sleep for 4 days along with having nothing to eat or drink. He said the hollering from when men would get attacked by the sharks has never left him. He talked to us about the time leading up to the ship sinking all the way to being rescued and making his way home. It was an intense interview.

~ Anthony Bourdain from his show on the Travel channel, No Reservations, called into the show today. He told us that his favorite place he has been to so far is South East Asia. He told us that the one thing that was totally disgusting and would never eat again was pickled rotten shark in Iceland. He got to talking about Food Network with Mikey and made a new fan because of his great knowledge on the people on that network. He also talked to us about being in Beirut when the war broke out there and how said it was.

~ We spoke with Ashlee today who is waiting in line for American Idol. Ashlee told us that her songs that she has ready for the judges are James Blunt's "Your Beautiful" and Kelly Clarkson's "Since You Been Gone". We heard a little of each from her and "Since You Been Gone" wasn't exactly her tone. The guys tried to convince her to do a hip-hop song and flow for the judges but she wasn't feeling it.

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. Today P-1 Talon absolutely smoked P-1 Shelby. She did not even get one correct today, it was a blow out. Talon was even answering her questions correct for her. Talon will be coming to hang out with us on Thursday because the show is going to Cabo on Friday.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Les Stroud called into the show today. He has a show on the Discovery Channel called Survivor Man and is going to be hosting Discovery Channels Shark week. He told us how stoked he is to see all of the documentary's on shark and how intense this 20th anniversary of Shark week is going to be. He talked to us about his show as well and said the scary time he was out trying to survive was when he was in the Artic which is also know as Polar Bear country. He told us that Polar bears are know to hunt humans and he was in the midst of their hunting grounds. He talked to us briefly about the allegations that came out about Man verse Wild's Bear Grylls and said that he has strict rules about him being in the wild and trying to survive that’s why he goes it alone (to authenticate survival the best he can).

~ We played one of the most ridiculous Dumb Chick Challenges ever. Today one of Sky's questions was "what was D-Day?". She thought it was when the bomb was dropped on Japan, amazing. B. Rob could not figure out what CPR stood for and Ashlee won it when she answer what black eyed peas are, they are not peas but beans. This is the pod cast today if you missed it.

~ Charger player Luis Castillo came into the studio today. He came in to talk to us about Chargers training camp starting up tomorrow. He said the team is so ready to get into camp and start playing again. He told us about how long the days are and how rough it will be but even with this said they are stoked to get into camp and start train gin. He said the days go from 5 in the a.m. to about 9 at night and they have to be in bed with the lights out by 10 pm. He also said that in some of the practices guys can lose up to 10 pounds but at camp they feed the guys real good (both with a lot of food and delicious food).

Today on The Mikey Show...

~ Andy Samberg from SNL came into the studio today. He brought in a couple of friends who he went to high school with and now are comedy writers with him. He talked about growing up in Berkley and how one day him and his buddies just decided to give it a shot (becoming comedy writers) in L.A.. They told us that they wrote for Jimmy Fallon when he hosted the MTV music awards and that’s how they got noticed and eventually brought on to SNL. The guys are all going to be down at Comicon today.

~ We played Tone Deaf Karaoke on the show today. Ashlee sang a Tonic song so bad that no one could figure it out but she made it all up with her rendition of the Spice Girls' "Wannabe". Then we heard a song special from Sean, Ashlee did A-Ha's "Take On Me".

~ Sky proved her goggling skills on Google Master Challenge today (ohh wait, no she didn't). In the midst of Sky getting beat up because she has no real knowledge of the news, Mikey decided to play Google Master Challenge to let her try and redeem herself. She was defeated three times today by P-1's. Today was not a good day for Sky.

~ Mikey got an email concerning splitting the bill when going out with friends. This P-1 lady wrote Mikey telling him that she goes out to dinner with friends who are all couples. She never gets that much to drink or eat but has to split the bill with them and always ends up paying more than her share. She thinks its unfair and wanted some advice on how to deal with it because she likes going out but not paying a lot to do it. We discussed getting the waitress to start separate tabs or even bringing it to the attention of the friends that she cant keep throwing in so much cash. We took calls from P-1's on what they do in that situation.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Billy Bush from Access Hollywood called into the show today. He interviewed Lindsey's dad and also spoke with Lindsey herself over email. He was talking to us about the emails and came off very defensive. He explained that he wanted to give Lindsey a voice to get out her side of the story because everyone is against her right now. Mikey was questioning him about Lindsey and how she is pretty much in the wrong and why in her email would she claim that the drugs found on her were not hers when he started getting very defensive for Lindsey. The interview got pretty weird from there on in, if you missed it you can hear it on the pod cast.

~ Chris Hansen from Date Line : To Catch A Predator called into the show today. He talked about the people he has helped catch and how every time that he first approaches the predators in the house he gets nervous because he never knows how the situation will play out. He told us the most disturbing predator was the guy who brought his 5 year old son to the house to hook up with a 14 year old boy. Date Line is on NBC tonight.

~ Dr. Phil made an appearance on the show today. Mikey got an email from a P-1 who is upset with his friend because the guy never pays off bets. Before Mikey could get through the email Ashlee tried to accuse B. Rob of not paying off his bet when in all actuality she is the only one on the show that has not paid off a bet. When Dr. Phil finally arrived and got down to business with his advice giving he talked about what his Uncle Pete Rose used to tell him about paying off bets.

~ Robert Gray Smith the author of the book Zodiac called into the show today. He talked to us about the movie that is now out on DVD, he said the movie is exactly what went down in real life and it does justice to what happened. He told us that the cops could of pinched this killer but they did not share their information with each other. He told us about the killer and how educated this guy was to be able to use the media the way he did.

~ We read a story today about Bear Grylls from Man vs. Wild, that was very disappointing to some of us on the show. In the news today it came out that the whole time we thought Bear was roughing it out in the wild he actually would be staying at hotels for the night. This jeopardized his authenticity with some members of the show but Mikey and Eddie stayed loyal fans no matter what was said.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played another Dumb Chick Challenge today. Today Boston Rob won it by answering "Who was President after Nixon?" and by getting the question "Who was President during the Cuban Missile Crisis?" correct. Sky could not figure out what city was called Music City.

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today the batch of guys we had play sucked, thanks to Boston Rob. So there were no great songs being sung. We heard some Phil Collins "In Your Eyes" but as soon as the P-1 started singing, it ruined everything.

~ Mikey got an email from this guy about his wife always being late. The P-1 guy was at the end of the line with his lady and her tardiness. Mikey said that there is a psychology to people always being late and we talked to some P-1's who are those late people. Mikey concluded that some of them like chaos in their lives. Then we talked to B. Dub (who is always late) and got his take on why he is always late. Lew Bush called in to explain his tardiness and how he knows that he should leave at a certain time but something always side tracks him.

~ Lindsey Lohan got another DUI and we were all over that story this morning. The news came in as soon as we got on the air that Miss Lohan had been arrested and facing alleged DUI charges. We kept getting information through out the show and the stuff kept getting crazier and crazier. She was released from jail almost immediately and now is in rehab again

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ B. Rob paid off his bet today. He had to go down to Convoy and Balboa dressed as a Yankees cheerleader. He had the full get up from fake breasts to shaved legs to pom-poms and a sign that read "Yankees are the Best". This was all because he lost the driving challenge to Ashlee. While out there Mikey did a "repeat after me" with B. Rob and made him cheer for the crowd that was gathering out there. School buses were driving by with kids hanging out the window yelling at him along with cops using there mega phones to tell him he had a nice skirt on.

~ We played Ashlee Pyramid today. Today Sky and Ashlee were really off their game, they did not win either time. Some of the descriptions for today's game were : things a football player wears, parts of a computer, types of cats, things police say and a great one to listen to Ashlee struggle to describe was famous criminals.

~ We had another Dumb Chick Challenge. Today B. Rob took the win by answering "what country's capitol is Oslo?" and answering "who is the Italian inventor that created the radio?". During today's game Ashlee tried to answer a question about Harriet Tubman and said that she was the lady who help black people ride on buses.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played Tone Deaf Karaoke. Today was phenomenal in the singing department. We heard one of the best possible versions ever of System of a Down's "Chop Suey", Ashlee killed it and had us in tears we were laughing so hard. We also heard some Melissa Etheridge "Come To My Window".

~ Pastor Miles McPherson came into the studio today. He came in to discuss a few things with us and brought in a guest. He brought a guy in recovery who had an amazing story about battling addiction. Tommy came in and told us about how he was addicted to coke and heroin and then quit all that and went over to meth. Miles made an Emmy award winning documentary on meth called Master Meth which featured Tommy. He talked to us about his recovery and how God played a part in it. You can get the DVD at www.milesahead.com. Miles also spoke to us about the new Rock church in Point Loma that is opening in august. He told us about all the new crazy technology that the church will have and how it will be nothing like what you think a church experience should be like.

~ We started talking about Brad and Angelina and how in an interview they said that they have never said "I Love You". We started to talk about how people have philosophies on when to say "I Love You" and whether or not they will say it first. Some people have a certain amount of time ( for example 3 months, 6 months or a year) before they will say those three words. B. Dub told us that he was in a relationship for a year and a half and never said it. We heard from P-1's who were in relationships for even longer and still have not said it.

~ We got a call from a guy who recently got in trouble with his girlfriend. He told us that he would forward emails from his lady to his friends and they would correct the grammar, get a good laugh and then send the email back to him. He also has one friend that is a professor and he would go as far as to grade the email. The girlfriend found out and was wicked upset. We debated on whether or not that is mean to do, we compared it to girls talking behind closed doors to their girlfriends about their boyfriends.

~ B. C. from the afternoon show was on the show today. We were talking about Evil Kinevil and how much of an unhappy ass the guy is. Evil is apparently having a sit down with Kanye West over a video Kanye made. B.C. had some experience with Evil and using sound bites of him to make prank calls, B.C. also talked to us about how much of a bitter old man Evil is.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ B. Rob went down to the court house today to find out "Whatcha Doin' At The Court House?". Today B. Rob talked to a guy who was upset that he spent time in jail after getting three strikes. The guy said that his third strike was not a violent one therefore he was wrongfully jailed. The other person B. Rob spoke with was an older man who sounded hammered and was convinced that his 4th Amendments were violated.

~ We announced B. Rob's new relationship today. B. Rob has a new girlfriend and we talked about how he had to ask her father for permission first. B. Rob explained that he is friends with her dad and that he called him up to let him know he was interested in her. B. Rob told us what he said to her dad and it sounded like the lyrics from REO Speed wagons' song "I Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore". Then Ashlee started breaking his balls saying that she thinks he will screw this up, B. Rob could not really defend himself because of the bet he lost to Ashlee.

~ We broke down John Mayer's song "Your Body Is A Wonderland" today. The ladies on the show told us how great John Mayer is and how he gets it when it comes to women. Mikey said that he knows a ball player that knows John and that John is just like one of the guys when no ladies are around. Then we got into the debate over whether or not John Mayer would be hot if he was not a celebrity.

~ Mikey got an email from this P-1 guy who had just started dating this girl. The P-1 explained in the email that he is slowly finding out that his new girlfriend is only friends with guys and that bothered him. Mikey explained that these girls that only have guy friends are a product of the environment they grew up in. We took calls from P-1's that had a similar situation and from lady P-1's that are that chick.

~ Mikey played Jim Valvano's last speech on air today. Jim Valvano was the NC State basketball coach who passed away from cancer and started up a foundation for cancer research. He explained that the speech really had a profound affect on him and wanted everyone else to hear it.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Today Sky actually won it after B. Rob messed up on his question of "Name three birds that cannot fly?" and said peacock in the answer. Ashlee got on the board with a point by amazingly answering the name of Disney's the little mermaid. Sky had to also answer "What was Napoleon's last name?", she almost said "Dynamite".

~ We played P-1 Trivia today. Today both P-1's were not that impressive in their knowledge of The Mikey Show. They had to answer questions like "Who mother has the nick name Lynard Skynard?", "What is Ashlee's guardian angel's name?" and "Who on the show talks to their cats like they are adult humans?".

~ We got more calls on cell phone mishaps from P-1's today. This one P-1 chick told us that he accidentally texted her boss that she was going commando to work and it was meant for a friend of hers. This other P-1 lady told us that she accidentally called her boyfriend and did not know, she was telling her friend (who was with her) that she was going to tell him that she was pregnant so he would not break up with her. Another P-1 lady found out that her boyfriend had a wife because she did not hang p the phone right away, it was intense.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We talked about Eddie's wedding and the craziness that went on behind the scenes. Mikey first told us about how Mike Costa was in charge of the food before the wedding. He was supposed to bring breakfast burritos to Eddie's house for all the guys. He showed up with 3 egg mcmuffins. He was in studio for a short while today to discuss this with us. Secondly, Mikey talked to us about his best man speech which he thought did not go over as well as everyone else did. Mikey told us that the speech was supposed to be serious and because Mikey is a funny man, everyone laughed at parts that were not meant to be laughed at which caught him off guard and made him uncomfortable. We also spoke with the church singer who took a spill in the middle of the ceremony. She told us that she is still recovering from the fall.

~ Mikey filled everybody in on why we were off last Thursday and Friday. Last week on the fourth Mikey's father had a heart attack. His father had been complaining the week before he did not feel well but Kaiser said that he was fine. Mikey got a call saying that his mother was talking his father to the ER because he was still not better and he ended up having a pretty big heart attack. He is doing better now but they had to do surgery. Then Mikey's wife was not feeling well and she had to go to the ER. It ends up she had kidney stones. It was a rough last week for Mikey and his family, everyone is doing better though.

~ Mikey also told us about his brother Steve-O and how he was inappropriate a few times last week. Mikey's neighbor had to bring Rebecca to the hospital because Mikey was at dinner with some friends from out of town. This was pretty late at night and the neighbor was doing them a big favor. On the way home, Steve rode with the neighbor and asked to stop at a Dairy Queen, the best they could find was a Cold Stone. Mikey was a little upset with his brother asking the neighbor to go out of her way after she had already done so much.

~ We spoke with one of the American Idol producers. This is the first year that they will hold their auditions in San Diego. They were supposed to come here a few years back but ended up going to L.A. instead. It will be a three day audition and they will not turn down anyone. They are going to be at Qualcomm and we are sending Ashlee down there to audition. We played Ashlee singing The Humpty Dance for the producer and he was cracking up.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Jake Peavy called into the show today. We talked to him about getting Chris Young into the All Star game, the city of San Diego along with the Padres are trying to make a big push on the last minute voting to get Young to San Francisco. You can vote online as many times as you want and Jake told us that there is no one else on the ballot that deserves this more than Young does (especially with the numbers he puts up). Jake told us that is a rock and roll kind of guy and loves country music as well. He told us that he proposed to his lady at dinner and just asked her "do you want to get hitched?", without even getting down on one knee.

~ We played Wuss Rock Juke Box today. Today the batch of guys we had on to play were on fire, so much you could say they were all flaming. We heard songs like "Waiting for a Girl like You" and Culture Club's "Do You Really Wanna Hurt Me?".

~ We discussed different office secrets today. Eddie told us about when he worked in fast food there would be times that someone would drop something on the floor and without missing a beat they would pick it up and serve it to a customer. We got calls from P-1's about disgusting things from their work that the public normally would not hear about. We heard about things like mixing BBQ sauce with your feet to rats eating half the food and serving the un-eaten stuff.

~ The solar panel debate, Sky takes on the guys. While talking about where to keep your thermostat on hot days like today, Sky said she keeps it at 78 to help conserve energy. They guys called her on it and think she (just like everyone else) does not keep it that hot. That broke out into the debate over conserving electricity to help out and how Sky will not use electric appliances during peak hours which the guys could not believe either. Then the fight escalated when Sky said she researched into solar power for her house, which the guys did not believe either. She said it would cost about 50 grand but that’s not what the guys found out when they researched it.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ John and Drew from the band Switchfoot were in studio today. Mikey is a huge fan of their music and the music they make has had a huge impact on his life. He told the guys that he used one of their songs when he graduated from rehab and another song for his wedding song. They told him that the song he used for his wedding was written in 15 minutes. They explained that it is still one of their favorite songs. They explained that they did not have to write down lyrics or record it, the song was so good they remembered it as soon as it was written. They played Mikey's wedding song for us acoustically, the song is called On Fire. This is on the podcast if you missed it.

~ We played Dumb Chick Challenge today. Today Sky thought B.B. King was nicknamed Satchmo and Ashlee guessed that there are 6 planets in our solar system. B. Rob won today's challenge, he answered correctly on what Babe Ruth's real name is and which President threw up on the Prime Minister of Japan.

~ Sky was at her best today. It was an intense day to say the least, she had no details on a story out of New York where a peacock was attacked by a man in a New York Burger King. Then while talking about the Live Free or Die Hard movie, Mikey wanted some information on it which Sky had none of and could not find it either. Sky also had no information for Mikey on when the fair was closing and told him that she is "not the queen of the fair" so why would she have that information. It was brutal.

~ B. Rob is paying off his bet this week and has to be nice to Ashlee all week, he started today and has a little bell he can ring instead of making fun of Ashlee.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ DMC from Run DMC came into the studio today. This was one of the most memorable interviews in the history of The Mikey Show. D came in to talk about what he will be doing at Shawn Merriman's comedy show and ended up sharing some the most intense times ion his life with us. He told us about him going through a depression where he was about to kill himself while on tour in Europe. He went on to tell us that when he got back home, he was in the car and heard Sarah Mclachlan's song Angel which empowered him to keep going on. This will be on the pod cast if you missed it, I would finish writing the story but you have to hear it for yourself.

~ Shawn Merriman came into the studio today. He came to talk to us about his Lights On Comedy show that is happening tomorrow. He told us about the line up and how DMC from Run DMC will be rocking the house as well. He told us that he is stoked for this year and the team wants to bring a ring back to San Diego. He talked to us about the hit on Priest Holmes that ended Priest's career.

~ Mikey had Zeth out waiting in line for him to pick up Mikey an iphone. Mikey is obsessed with getting an iphone and because the lines have already begun around the county, Mikey sent Zeth out to wait for him. We got updates from Zeth all morning on how the line was and we talked to another guy who had been camping out waiting for the phone.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ The Driving Challenge between B. Rob and Ashlee went down today. The first challenge was the weaving in between cones and Ashlee took it, B. Rob screwed it up pretty bad. Then when it came to the parallel parking B. Rob smoked Ashlee, Ashlee hit the cones that were acting as the car. Finally was the Brady Bunch egg on the cone challenge and Ashlee beat B. Rob by 2 and a half inches. Ashlee won the overall challenge and the payoff of B. Rob in a Yankees cheerleader outfit will be next week.

~ We talked about Paris Hilton getting out of jail and listened to the audio of her interview with Larry King. Paris claims to be a new person coming out of jail, she also claims to be smarted but what we heard did not sound too smart. We dissected her interview and her poems that she read for Larry King.

~ We discussed the Vince McMahon interview and all that is going on surrounding the Chris Benoit case. We heard from P-1's who have taken steroids and what they thought about the ordeal that has gone on. P-1 Evan Marriot, also known as Joe Millionaire, called into the show to comment on steroids. He told us that he took steroids and was training to be a wrestler. You can hear all of it on the pod cast.

~ Carrie Fisher from the show On The Lot called into the show today. She was also Princess Leia in Star Wars but Mikey did not ask about that all and wanted to keep the focus on the show which is way more interesting to him. She was a very real person and told us how the producers of the show have weird politics which she does not understand to the fullest extent.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Today while Mikey was talking about women that are in their late thirties and are not married have something wrong with them. This chick called in actually looking for a roommate for the Cabo Cruise and ended up talking to Mikey about how she is 37 and single and likes it that way. She came down to the studio today so Mikey could interview her. We found out about past relationships and Mikey figured she was into guys that are unattainable. Eddie said she was a beating, which might have had something to do with it. She is now Mikey's experiment and he is going to coach her in how to get a man.

~ The Driving Challenge between Ashlee and B. Rob is going down tomorrow. It is going down at 7 am at the Sports Arena. Mikey announced the types of challenges they are going to have to perform. The first is weaving in between cones, the next is a parallel parking challenge, the final one is the Brady Bunch egg on cone challenge. There is no a bet on the table, if B. Rob loses he has to dress as a Yankees cheerleader saying he loves the Yankees and if Ashlee loses she has to dress like Paris Hilton and have a sign saying Paris is better than her. The loser will also have to be overly nice to the other for a day.

~ Mike announced that the band Switch Foot will be playing in the studio on Monday. They are coming in the studio to play an acoustic set. Mikey explained how he will be wicked nervous because he is such a fan of their music. He told us that one of their songs is him and his wife's' wedding song.

~ Dr. Phil came on the show today to dish out some of his backwoods advice. We got an email from a P-1 guy who has a real problem with his wife's driving. He said he fears for his life when he has to drive with her and that she has totaled 3 of their cars. Dr. Phil basically bashed women drivers the entire time.
