Today on The Mikey Show…

 ~ Steve Foley of the Chargers was shot three times by an off-duty police officer in San Diego this past weekend. We talked about it and had a S.D. police officer on the show to fill us in on protocol  from different situations. We were told that warning shots are not particularly usual conduct and that a retired officer called in saying that we will probably find out soon that this officer involved in the shooting was probably very young.

~ The Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, died this weekend in a freak accident with a sting-ray. We talked about his death and how unfortunate it is because he was loved by all. P-1's called in and talked about how they felt and we rapped about how when you work with dangerous animals things like this can happen.

~ Mikey told us about how he had his family in town this weekend to celebrate his parents 50th anniversary. He told us about a fight him and his wife got in because his brother was late. He said that on the way to the dinner party they were going to stop and run an errand but because his brother showed up late to his house to get ready for the party they were not going to be able to run the errand. He explained that he got really fired up over the situation but later everything was made better.
