Mikey Show Recap Wed. Sept 6, 2006

Today on The Mikey Show…

 ~ Bo Derek called into the show to tell us about her new show but Mikey got a bad start to the interview and could not shake it. He wanted to find out if she was single or not but ended up asking about her late husband, who died 8 years ago. He felt really uncomfortable and went with the follow up question of "You probably get hit on by much younger men right?" and she then told him that she did not want to talk about her personal life. This sounds bad but it was still going smooth because Bo was so nice and understanding. It got weird at the end of the interview when Mikey kept saying how awkward he felt about the interview, it was hilarious.

~ Sky told us about one of her friends who told her about a rule when dating. Her girlfriend said "no black guys" because she was white. This turned into a big debate between Sky and her friend and then transferred into a big topic on the air. We talked to lots of P-1's about dating outside their race and heard from some racists that did not know they are racist. P-1's were calling in telling us about how they have black friends but would not date a black person and other P-1's that told us their family would disown them if they dated outside their race.

~ We played "Who Can Sean beat Now?". Sean was doing fine today and was almost undefeated until Mikey opened his mouth and jinxed Sean. Sean buzzed in first but got the song wrong.
