Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Ashlee has a passion for baking and none of us knew that. Today while talking about a party etiquette topic, Eddie talked some smack about Ashlee's baking talents. Ashlee was not having it at all and wanted a chance to prove herself. Mikey said that Sky is a great baker and tried convincing her to bring in some cookies or brownies this week and have Ashlee do the same. We were going to use Sky's baked good as a gauge on how well Ashlee can bake but Sky thought that Mikey was trying to pit the two against each other. We got Shauna to agreed to bring in something baked on Friday and use her food as a gauge.

~ Do you have proper party etiquette? Mikey got an email from a listener asking him if it is ok to bring home food that you have brought to a party (whether it be opened or un-opened). Mikey said that he thinks that if you do that it can be very tacky and weird but it also depends on the situation. Mikey said that if B. Rob wanted to bring home the food he brought it would be understandable because he is so poor. Eddie went through something similar recently and brought some beers to a b.y.o.b. party and had a dilemma when he was leaving because almost all of them were left. Eddie left them there but really wanted to take them home. We discussed what is appropriate to leave at a party and what should you bring back home with you.

~ Mike played a new mash up song that Sean found for him today. A mash up is two songs mixed together so the beats and lyrics match. The song was the lyrics of Kelly Clarkson's Since You've Been Gone and the music of the Eagles One of these Nights. The mash up was done by DJ Aggro 1, his website is www.aggro1.com.
