Mikey Show Recap Friday June 30, 2006

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ It is Ashlee's birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIL LADY!!! She is 23 today and we all sang her Happy Birthday on air today in the key of Ashlee.

~ Sean told us a story about his cat running away. He told us that last week his cat got out of the house and he went around the neighborhood looking for it. He went to the Korean neighbors, the ones that hate him, and asked if they had seen his cat. The man who opened the door spoke almost no English so he got his son to come and translate. Once he found out what Sean was asking him, he lost it. He thought Sean was racially profiling him and suggesting that they ate Sean's cat.

~ We played a special edition of Low I.Q. Haiku today for Ashlee's birthday. We tried giving her easier words but that did not even help. She said she drinks out of a cavalier than when we asked her what shrapnel meant, she had no clue. Finally Mikey had to improvise to help her out and he asked her what bread meant.

~ Carlos Mencia called into the show today. Mikey told him that he tried to mend the bridge between him and Joe Rogan but Joe called him a thief and scumbag. Carlos did not want to even dignify what Joe said and said his life is good and he does not need to deal with that. Then Carlos told Mikey about a new bit he was working on called the Stereo Typical Olympics. When we got off the line with him, Mikey said he can not have Carlos on the show any more because the bit he told us about was actually some one else's idea. They heard it in Radio Boot camp a year ago from some D.J.'s in Miami.

~ Miles McPherson and Traa from P.O.D came into the studio to talk about the free show on the Fourth of July. It is going to be at Coors Amphitheater and Miles is going to deliver a message along with P.O.D. playing. Miles told us that this started 10 years ago (the free shows) and P.O.D. actually played the first one they ever did. Traa told us how when on the road to resist temptation the guys in the band hold each other accountable and they keep their focus on what is important to them. Miles told us that the hardest audience is the one where it is in a pro sports team's chapel right before a game.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Mikey was telling us about his love for the Olive Garden today and got into a topic about waiters and what inappropriate comments they must have to endure during their shifts. Sky told us about how when she was a waitress she was asked if she wanted to be in a threesome with two of her patrons. P-1's that are in the waiting field called in and told us their horror stories. For example, this one guy told us about a lady going number 2 at her table and another guy who was asked to dance on the table for these old ladies.

~ Ashlee is trying to break into the music industry. Following in B. Rob's footsteps, she wrote a song and went into the lab and now has her own song out. Mikey dubbed it Hysterity, which Sky (Ashlee's agent) quickly agreed to and claimed it as if they named it that. It was a parody to Olivia newton John's song Let's Get Physical. The song made no sense but it was funny and you can hear it on the Mikey Show website.

~ Eddie flipped out again today over his sandwich that his fiancé made him. Eddie is very particular when it comes to his sandwich, he likes it with only meat, cheese, mayo and mustard with nothing else. Mama D put lettuce on his sandwich and he was not a happy camper. We figure out that it was a psychological move on her part. She wrote Mikey an email stating that Eddie had not noticed she has bought him the good lunch meat and this was her way of getting him back.

~ We played Who Can Sean Beat Now? Sean again destroyed the competition. He tells us that he gets nervous before we play the game but there is no good reason for that because the P-1's that tried to go up against his got blown out of the water today.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Larry The Cable Guy called into the show today. When Mikey asked him how he felt this morning he told us that he felt happier than Michael Jackson disguised as a floor lamp at a Harry Potter book signing. WE talked to him about his role in the new movie Cars. He told us he was so excited to play the part of a tow truck that he put on 1700 pounds and then he found out that it was going to be cartoon. We also found out that Larry will not be cashing in on this movie because when he started the movie in 2003 he accepted a flat rate for the film.

~ While Mikey was talking about how his life is going to change when he becomes a father, this guy called in talking about being a stay at home dad and how he believes it is really easy. He said that women always complain and make it out to be some kind of wicked difficult thing and that men would never be able to handle but he is doing it just fine. He said woman just milk it and that he has quit his job to stay at home with the kids. When asked how old the kids were, he told us 11 and 13. That’s when Mikey pointed out that this guy really is not a stay at home dad and his kids can pretty much take care of themselves at that point.

~ Today on Puss Rock Juke Box we had one of the most un-gay batches of dudes ever. None of the guys in today's game knew the lyrics. Some of then knew the tune and tried humming along while making up there own lyrics to the song but none of them were gay enough to actually belt out the Puss Rock tunes we played.

~ Mikey read us an email from this P-1 that thought he should be a member of The Mikey Show. He meant it, he thought he could actually be on the show with us. He said he comments along with the show and his friends think he is wicked funny. Mikey did not want to comment on it and brought in the professional, Dr. Phil. Dr. Phil talked about the advice his uncle Connie Chung gave he when he was young. Then Dr. Phil told a story about being in Hanoi listening to Vietnamese Shock Jocks.

Mikey Show Recap Monday June 26, 2006

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We got this call during open phones today from this guy whose wife has lost her mind. He told us that his wife was so inspired by Angelina Jolie and her adoption ways, she wanted to adopt a child from Africa. This guy was all out on that idea and posed the question why not from America where there are lots of children that need to be adopted. Sky though that it was beautiful although she did think that they might want to try and adopt here  in the U.S. first. Mikey suggested that he tell his wife to donate money to a charity that helps orphan children.

~ The finals of Sales Person Trivia went down today. Today was the wildcard match with Russell and Mr. Brad Crush-it who was the wildcard player. Russell tried smoozing us with a cake that his wife had baked for us. This was a wicked intense match and Brad was very impressive with his knowledge of the show, he is definitely a P-1. They went back and forth getting them all correct until Brad slipped up and Russell won sending him to the Final round.

~ In the other match it was Gina going up against Elisabeth. Right off the bat the girls were getting catty with each other, it was pretty hot. This was the first match that actually had to go into a tie breaker. It was really close but Elisabeth took the win and went to the final round.

~ In the Final round of Sales Person Trivia, Russ went up against Elisabeth. Russ dominated this match, I must note the fact that Elisabeth is new and some of her questions pertained to older things in the show. Either way Russell won and is the ultimate P-1. When he go the chance to promote a client he made a genius move and promoted himself giving out his number for any P-1 business owner to get in touch with him if they want to advertise on Rock.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We had in studio the SDSU Aztecs Football coach Chuck Long. He told about how he played in the NFL as a QB for 8 years and got banged up quite a bit. He mentioned that he came here from the University of Oklahoma. He said he is a big fan of Rock and Roll an he lets his coaches pick songs to listen to during pre-practice. He said he is a huge fan of Pearl Jam and the Chili Peppers.

~ Mikey got an email from this P-1 guy who had a big problem with his wife. She had thrown away one of his favorite torn and tattered shirts because she thought is was time for it to go. Eddie said this has never happened to him but if it did World War 3 would erupt in his house. Sky said she does not really do it but with his band t shirts we found out that if she did not like the band then she would toss it. P-1's called in to tell us there stories of significant others tossing there favorite articles of clothing.

~ We played Bombed at the Beach today. Sky was not picked by a P-1 so she had to sit out but like always she made her answers heard. She teamed up with the P-1 that played and gave him all the wrong answers. Eddie, of course, ended up winning today. During the game, one of the questions Ashlee was asking was "What insurance agency is the gecko the mascot for?" but Ashlee said geico instead of gecko, giving away the answer, hilarious.

~ Famed artist Wyland came into the studio. This was a great interview, Wyland told us about how he just goes by Wyland and at first said that he had no first name which he later revealed to us. Mikey did not believe him and when he showed us his ID it said under the first name "unknown". He told us very little about his dating experiences with Linda Blair and Carol Alt.

~ Ashlee gave us her review of the movie Syriana. There was not much to it. She said Matt Damon and George Clooney were in it and then told us that a lot of people were passionate about things she could not explain. She also informed us that it ended at the end and there was a lot of involvement with oil.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Tough Love with our boy Eddie made its triumphant return today. Eddie dished out his tough yet brutally honest love to a P-1 that had met him and wanted Eddie to help him get the word out that he was starting a new band, a P-1 broad that needed a game plan to convince her mom to fund her boob job and a guy who is having a child with his wife really soon but they cannot agree on a name.

~ We played Tone deaf karaoke today. I think Ashlee might be getting better at singing or our P-1's are getting better at deciphering singing in the key of retard. Ashlee belted out Hungry like the Wolf by Duran, Duran. She gave us a sweet rendition of Usher and Lil John's song Yeah and ended it with Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You.

~ We talked to P-1 Amber who got a shock yesterday when we did a cheaters hotel on her husband. She told us that he has another kid with this other hussy and they are expecting again. She said they talked it through and he told her he would leave that other chick to be with her and then she dropped the bomb on us. She said she was going to stay with him. Everyone on the show and the P-1's advised her to get out now because it is not a good situation for her but she is an adult and has to make her own choices.

~ B. Rob dropped two of his latest hits today. The first is a parody of 50 Cent's Candy Shop called Taco Shop and in it he raps about taking a broad out to a taco shop on a first date. The second B. Rob lets you look inside and see he is a person with feelings, it’s a parody of the Cheers TV. show theme song. It is all about how he believes everyone on the show thinks he is lame.

~ Sugar Ray Leonard called into the show today. He told us that he still talks to Tommy Herns and whenever they talk Tommy asks him what he is weighing and then taunts him to get in the ring with him but only body shots. We found out that he wants his wife to call him Suga but she calls him Ray and when she is mad at him, like the time he forgot to pick up his kids at school because he was golfing, she calls him Ray Leonard.

~ Mikey brought up the fact that lately Boy Blunder also know as Budweiser of the B.C. and Clint show has been trying to make lunch plans with them a lot lately. Mikey thought he had ulterior motives for the lunch dates like he was going to come out of the closet or some kind of big announcement but when they went out there wasn't. We talked to Blunder/Rick/Budweiser and he said he was just trying to take the initiative to hang out. Clint then called in and told us that whenever he asks him to hang out or go to lunch Budweiser tells him no.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played Mikey's Gay Pod today. He was looking really straight for the beginning. We heard some Metallica, Deftones and then it went downhill real quick. He then tried to tell us that he never listened to the Jewel song on his ipod and tried to explain why "Honkey Cat" by Elton John was not gay.

~ Mikey got an email from a P-1 that he read to us on air today. It was from this P-1 guy who had recently started dating his best friends little sister. He said that he is 34 and they have been friends for over ten years and at first he said it would be cool that they were dating but now his relationship with his boy has fizzled out. P-1's called in to tell us of good and bad sibling relationships that they have been in.

~ Cheaters Hotel went down like no other ever before. P-1 Amber told Mikey that she suspected her husband of six years of cheating on her. She explained that he had been taking more and more business trips in the past year and that he would be next to impossible to get in touch with when he was on these trips. When Mikey got the guy on the phone and offered the hotel room, he said that would be great to get away because his girl is pregnant. P-1 Amber jumped in and asked who he was talking about because she knew she was not pregnant. When he heard her voice, he hung up. We could not get back in touch with him and P-1 Amber was on the verge of tears so we let her go.

~ While talking about San Diego falling behind San Antonio in largest city in the U.S., everyone was mentioning the great things about San Diego. While mentioning things like PB, Petco, and other San Diego things, Ashlee said Lake Havasu. She honestly meant it and it was freaking hilarious. The guys started teasing her about it saying that San Diego is known as the motor city and the city flower is the queer, also that Mardi Gras is held here.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Sky is back! Sky returned from her trip today and we missed her dearly. It was not even 5 minutes into the show where her and Mikey got into it with each other, then everyone else joined in.

~ We played some Puss Rock Juke Box. Today was one of the better batch's of all time. P-1 Army Soldier called in to play and hit the high notes like a chick, Eddie said "don’t ask, don't tell". The last P-1 today did not know the lyrics so he made up his own singing that Mikey looks like a Mexican Greg Vaughn.

~ During open phones today P-1 Brittany told us about a weird thing that she encountered on a date recently. She told us that while walking out to the guys car she noticed a vanity plate that referred to how buff the guy was. She thought it was really cheesy and was not sure if she was going to go out with him again. Mikey told us that he used to have one that said "rock jock" but he was shamed into never putting it on his car. Everyone pretty much agreed that having a plate that states how muscular you are is pretty lame.

~ Mikey read this article listing the top ten things you should know before going on a first date. Some of the things were to know at least three major things going on in current events, to know three titles and authors from the New York Times Best Seller list, also to know at least one joke really well. Mikey felt that the list was trying to make you be something that you might not be and gave us his own list of things to know before a first date. Some of the things on Mikey's list were to keep your cell phone off, to smell good, to dress nice, not to talk about ex's or to talk about yourself too much.

~ Mikey got an email from a guy who is getting married for the second time and wants a pre-nup. The guys' lady is not all about getting a pre-nup and he was looking to see what the show thought about pre-nups. Sky shocked everybody when she said that if she was to get married today she would want a pre-nup.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Shauna filled in for Sky today. It was different but Shauna did a great job. There were a couple of times where the weather was confused and Mikey and her could not get it together. Then closer to the end of the show, Shauna kind of gave up on the weather and told us to watch out because there was a chance of snow. Also, the guys called her out on not inviting them to the Chargers Media party she went to as well as the Hall and Oates concert she was at where she rushed the stage drunk.

~ We played Sales Person Trivia today. Today the newbie's went up against each other, it was Shelby versus Elizabeth. Elizabeth came in looking very confident bringing in her information for the client she wanted to plug with it ready to go. She lead the competition the entire time and Shelby had the chance to tie it but could not giving Elizabeth the win. Next week is the finals.

~ Kathy Griffin called into the show today. We did not have a lot of time with her today and it was kind of disappointing. Mikey wanted to dive into so many different things with Kathy. He only really got to talk to her a little bit about her show and how tomorrow nights episode is of her in Iraq entertaining the troops. Mikey tried to get her to promise that she would stop by the studio when she was in town but did not give us a definite.

~ B. Rob told us that his girlfriend dropped the "L" word on him and he did not react. She told him that she loved him and he did not respond. This brought the topic up of who said "I love you" first in all of our relationships and how you did it. Eddie said he texted his fiancé that he loved her and Mikey told us that he was the first one to say it.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Chef Gordon Ramsey from the show Hell's Kitchen called into the show today. This was another phenomenal interview. Mikey does not like the show and thinks that its fake (the way he acts) and called him out on it. Chef Ramsey let Mikey have it from then on in. The interview was explosive, when Mikey asked about throwing food at people he told Mikey he was giving it back to them and that Mikey was lucky he was not in San Diego then told him to go to the bathroom to check and make sure he was a man. Mikey asked about his home life and being a father and he said that when his son didn't want to eat his carrots he said if he does not his widger would not grow. Mikey ended up telling him to punch himself in the testicles, it was great.

~ Mikey read a email he got from a P-1 looking for advice. The P-1 said he had recently got married and his wife's family is pretty well off. He went on to say that the father in-law wanted to buy them a house but he really did not feel comfortable taking it because he believes he should provide for his family. The wife wanted to live in a house now but the P-1 wanted to keep saving until he had earned it. Eddie totally related to this guy wanting to buy his own place and said that it feels so much better and you appreciate it more when you have earned it and paid for it yourself.

~ We talked a lot about the Dateline that was on last night with Brittany Spears being interviewed by Matt Lauer. Everyone agreed that she came across like some serious white trash. P-1 Snapper called in and was really upset that everyone was attacking her and did not understand why everyone does not leave Brittany alone. Mikey explained to her that Brittany invites it in. Mikey also explained that Brittany is not mentally capable of being Brittany Spears and he would like to be her personal Brittany Police, to stop her before she does stupid things and make her be normal.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ The guys revealed their new number one hit song today. It is for and about Sky and her devotion to the Honey Baked Ham. It was written to Z.Z. Top's Sharp Dressed Man and is freaking hilarious. Mrs. Sky and Ramsey both make an appearance in the song. This song is number one with a bullet.

~ Senator John McCain called into the show today. This was one of the best interviews we have had on the show. Senator McCain has a new book out called Character is Destiny. Mr. McCain told us about his views on torture in the U.S., he believes we above that and it does not work. He was a P.O.W. for five years in Hanoi and he told us a little bit about it. He crashed his plane in Hanoi and broke both of his arms and a leg, he said the only reason they kept him alive was for propaganda because of his fathers rank in the Navy. He also touched upon immigration and said that there needs to be a comprehensive approach to get to the solution.

~ While talking about the Spider man comic in the news we found out that Sean actually has a comic book (or graphic novel as he called it) trading ring at the building he works at. He told us that each week him and a bunch of guys trade different comics that they have to each other and discuss them very reminiscing of a book club. Mikey was shocked and did not believe him and made him go find a co-worker that is involved in this comic ring with him. He found Chris who validated the story.

~ Liev Schreiber called into the show today. He played the father, Robert Thorn, in the new Omen movie. Mikey asked if he or any of the other cast were weirded out by redoing the movie. Live told us that every one was always waiting for something creepy to happen but nothing ever did, the closest to something strange happening was some one on the crew woke up with a ink blot on their hand that they thought looked like a six. He would not reveal to us who he was dating and kept saying Jack Black but Sky did a little research and found out that Live is really dating Naomi Watts, that lucky dog.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ Shauna auditioned to be Sky's replacement for Monday. Mikey expected her to really suck but she actually came in with her "A" game today. She showed us that she could hang and she is, as of right now, the front runner to fill in for Sky on Monday.

~ Brian O'Halleran and Jeff Anderson, better known as Randall and Dante from the cult classic Clerks came into the studio today. They are promoting the new movie Clerks 2. Mikey broke down to them how he did not really like the movie but thought that there were some laugh out loud parts. They explained that this movie is geared to a different audience. They said the first Clerks was ground breaking and was for the audience of that time 12 years ago. They told us that Kevin Smith is a devout Christian and goes to church every Sunday and that Jason Mewes has been sober for three years now and that with-in the first ten minutes of meeting him you will see his junk.

~ Gary Hoey came into the studio today. He is playing at Canes this weekend and also is playing at SDSU for a Democracy festival later this summer. He told us about how tough it is when he plays live at Petco Pak because of the echo. Then he revealed to us that through his connections with the Padres he got to play at Fenway Park which he ranked it as high as having a child or getting married (which is dead on). He then played a new song of his album that has yet to be released, he did his own rendition of Red Rider's Lunatic Fringe and it was wicked sick.

~ We played Who Can Sean beat Now?. Today is was kind of upsetting. Our champ took a couple of really tough hits. Sean was not the first one to buzz in a few times but the P-1''s could not get the title or artist and Sean ended up taking it but then a P-1 took him right out. The P-1 buzzed in first and got the song correct. Sean is not undefeated any more.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played some Puss Rock Juke Box. Today the batch of guys did not do that well but P-1 Paulie Walnuts had called in to play. He was not the one to sing for us as he had a special guest to do the singing. He then gave the phone over to Mr. Tony Benet who absolutely killed it with his performance.

~ Mikey got a very serious email from a P-1 who called herself P-1 poker widow. She said her husband is playing on line poker from the time he wakes up until the time he falls asleep and so far he has been winning but she is worried what might happen when he starts losing. She specifically asked not to get advice from Dr. Phil but that’s exactly who Mikey called in. Dr. Phil the came in and told her about when he used to run a casino but then we realized that he was thinking he was Robert Dinero in the movie Casino.

~ Yesterday Ashlee was B. Rob's slave for a day because she lost to him in Jeopardy. B. Rob had recorded the days events and everything he made her do. We listened to him watching TV with her just sitting there and then making her be his personal remote and change the channels for him. He then had her make some ridiculous phone calls to his friends and finally she went and got him a Honey Baked ham.

~ Sky will not be here on Monday because she is going out of town. Mikey was in a bind on whether or not to get someone to fill in for her. He told her that she is so crucial to the show that it is really tough to have the show with out her. Sky does not want anyone to fill in for her because she has this fear that they would do better then her (which would never happen). Mikey then said that he thinks Shauna would want to fill in for her. Shauna called in and let us know that she would love to. Sky is fine with Shauna doing it and expressed that she felt Shauna is a strong enough woman to do the job.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We had another Sales person Trivia Challenge today. It was Gina Raroque going up against Jennifer Rich. Mikey read on air an email that Jen had written to him previous to the game asking him for some hints or possibly even the answers. Ashlee was not a fan of that and was very upset when she got some of the answers wrong. Gina went three for three and took the win.

~ Mikey got an email from a P-1 chick telling him that she believes that if you have been with your man for 18 months and he has not purposed to you then he probably never will. She then went on to tell him that on her and her man's 18 month anniversary he purposed to her. She was wondering if this was a ring to just get her to shut up. Mikey and Eddie both agreed that it was and she is obviously a beating. Sky liked to think that he probably felt it was the right time to pop the question, she lives in a fantasy world.

~ Mikey read on air a note that was posted all over the cafeteria scolding the jocks and everyone for not re-filling the ice cube trays. Some one was really upset about it, the letter went on to tell people that their mother is not here and there are no maids that work at clear channel. Mikey wanted to find out who wrote the letter and interview them.

~ We had this guy on the phone today who has been making news across the States because of a stolen cell phone. His friend left her cell in a cab and someone took it, he emailed the phone and offered a reward for it but they responded telling him that he would never get it back. He now has a web site blogging each new day and the pictures these people took on the stolen phone, the site is www.evanwashere.com/stolensidekick. Evan said he is doing this because he wants to get the point across that people should have better morals.

~ Ashlee is B. Rob's slave today because she lost to him in Jeopardy last week. All during the show she had to do anything he asked. He got a backrub at one point and also had her getting him water through out the show. Tomorrow we will hear what else she had to do for him.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played Low I.Q. Haiku today but gave it a little twist. Mikey had said the proverb "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink" to Ashlee the other day and she had no idea what he had meant. Mikey figured that it would be a great idea to use proverbs instead of words this time. We used well known proverbs like "Beware of Trojans bearing gifts" which she was like a deer in headlights for that one and also "People who live in glass houses should not throw stones" which she had not the slightest but she did know "You can't judge a book by its cover".

~ The B. Rob and Ashlee Jeopardy rematch. Today the categories were Potpourri, The 80's, and Geography. It started off real rocky for both of them as they were both in the negative numbers. Ashlee even said that Ted Bundy was the Oklahoma City bomber. Then B. Rob started to make a comeback putting himself far in the lead. They had to give Ashlee points just so she could play Final Jeopardy. B. Rob won and Ashlee has to be his slave for the day on Monday.

~ Mikey started talking about the Date Line where the guy lost his wife to malpractice at a hospital. Eddie said he had a horror story about getting an epidural at the hospital and that they had to keep sticking him because they could not get it right. Sean had another horror story about how he past out from the pain after they repeatedly tried to get the epidural correct. P-1's called in with there hospital horror stories.

~ Lynn Rae from NBC's So You Think You Can Dance called into the show. This is the broad that wrote all over herself and was obviously crazy. Mikey asked her about it and she admitted to us that she has heard before that people thinks she is nuts and she knows that she is a little crazy. She said she only has ADHD and has not been diagnosed with anything else. We talked to her boyfriend who is a year older then her and he told us that they met when she was go-go dancing at a club and from that moment he know they were meant to be together.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ The Chargers first round draft Antonio Cromartie came into the studio today. We found out that he is 22, 6 foot 4 and can run a 4.2 40. He told us that some of his coaches had compared him to the great Deon Sanders in his abilities. He said he loves the weather out here in San Diego and is excited for the season. We talked to him about coming off surgery on his knee and he said he is expected to be 100 percent for the season. Jerry Rice had the same kind of injury he has and came back from it 100 percent.

~ We played Mikey's Gay Pod today. He was borderline gay in almost every song played today. In his random shuffle we heard from Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Incubus, Ryan Cabrera, and even Mikey's favorite (who he will be going to see live in concert) Fiona Apple.

~ Today Sky got a surprise. It was the best thing ever, If you are a P-1 you know that Sky is in love with Honey Baked Ham's and despises Costco hams. Today she was honored with a Honey Baked Ham Certificate as the most valued customer. The certificate was officially written out to Sky from The Mikey Show and one of the big wigs from Honey Baked came in to present it to her along with a ham and a few different honey baked platters which she asked if the regular people could buy at the store. Of course she would not give any of the food to any of us never the less to Ramsey her black man servant (who is real).

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played Puss Rock Juke Box. Today was a really bad batch of P-1's trying to queer it up with there singing skills. WE had a couple of guys who were scared panty-less and actually hung up. We did have one P-1 pull through and with his knowledge of Puss Rock music show us how much he loved to dine on man member (as Sean said).

~ During open phones today P-1 Craig called in to tell Mikey about his situation. He explained that he was about to get married and his fiancé had invited her father to his bachelor party. He then went on to tell us that she did all of this without consulting him. Sky found it to be fine saying that if you have nothing to hide why should he not be able to go. Mikey felt it just was uncomfortable and also to watch out if your woman is already making decisions for you. Eddie said to have two bachelor parties and that he is actually going to have two parties, one for his father and uncles and the other for him and his boys.

~ Today Eddie told us about how this past weekend he took his niece to be to the pool. He told us about there were these kids that ended up kind of bullying her around. This brought up the topic of whether or not you should discipline somebody else's child if that parent is not doing it which led into the topic of how do you teach your kid to deal with other children picking on them. Mikey revealed to us that he will teach Jake to "ball up his fist as tight as he can and punch the kid square in the nose if the bully is persistent with the bullying". Sky felt that that method taught and made violence ok at a young age as was the worst thing you could do. Eddie actually agreed with Sky today, make a note of that because it will probably never happen again.

Today on The Mikey Show…

~ We played the first ever Sales Person Trivia. We brought Russ and Christina down into the studio to see what they know about the show. It did not go well for either of them. Christina got zero questions correct and Russ felt that she was getting all the easy ones. Russ ended up getting two of the five questions and winning the challenge and moving on to the next round. Mikey allowed the P-1's to compete and call in if they knew the answer, and of course they knew the answer to every question.

~ Howie Mandel called into the show today. He told us that he almost did not take the job as host for Deal or No Deal. He told us how he has heard stories from the people that drive the people back to the airport and how the supporters get it from the contestants and that there are a lot of break ups. Howie also told us that he is still doing his stand up over 200 dates a year and that he does hit San Diego. He talked to us about his OCD and how he does not shake hands.

~ We played Loaded Questions today. P-1's have to guess out of Eddie, Mikey and Sky, who answered what to different loaded questions. Today we found out that if they could possess super powers Sky would want telepathy, Eddie would want to have x-ray vision, and Mikey would want to be able to fly. We also found out that if they were not on the radio the job they would have is Sky would be a social worker, Eddie would be a teacher and Mikey would be a photographer.
